So pleased for Karen! Novice dancer and just smashed it. Karen is now my favourite.

She was fabulous. Lovely person too.

I remember seeing her fellow football pundits and fellow ex lionesses saying that Karen has some great moves and is always first on the dancefloor on a night out.

I loved her saying she’s hungry! She was brilliant.

first couple of weeks are a bit of an endurance event, but still glad strictly is back

Has the first episode always been that long? If felt much longer than usual, I switched off halfway through and recorded the rest.

I’m abit behind, but I didn’t like Shirley’s comments on la Vois. I found it uncomfortable and a bit patronising. I think you can tell that they are trying to be more graceful this week and that was just unnecessary.

Watching on catch up so a little behind Karen reminds me of J Lo with the hair extensions. Tess looks like a Dagenham housewife (sorry for anyone from Dagenham) thought Alex was robbed with her results

I got form for forgetting who has done strictly so there could have been others but only Alex comes to mind and she was OK but not brilliant.

If Karen can deliver passable ballroom she’s definitely one to watch.

Overall a great show (even if it did last forever). Did not like Thomas everyone else seemed very nice and just there to do their best
