I felt the same disappointment with DJJ! Was such an arrogant arse. Loved his characters so it's ruined those shows a bit.

Well I was surprised at how much I liked Ross - he has Jowita and look how good she was with Hamza - perhaps Ross will be a (very) dark horse, I think he will go for it

Liked Stefan - think he could be fairly good

I liked Jimmys attitude and who knows what Lauren could unleash - I remember her with Krishna's

I wish it was a 50/50 split like in the earlier series,

Karen (ex footballer looked amazing and I'm sure she will train hard, depends if she can let herself go and not be self concious

I only know Vicky from Celeb Masterchef but when I saw her I wondered what she had done to her teeth as they looked different - liked her attitude

I wanted to love Alex Kingston but not sure why I didn't

Ellie has got the loveliest partner in Vito, I hope we see them for a while as Vito is my favourite (now that the other Italian has gone) - he will certainly bring out the very best of her

I have no idea who lots of them are , I did know Thomas from the Apprentice and nothing he did endeared me to him - sorry Amy but I hope he goes first - 2 weeks will be 2 weeks too many

I normally have an instant dislike for the ringers ...but I can feel myself turning this year with Lewis !!

Happy to be proved wrong on any of them, but several have got shocking posture. Honestly, I thought Karen was going to be awful when I saw her walk down the stairs initially, but when she danced I was pleasantly surprised to see some decent rhythm.

Just finished watching it looks like it might be a good year hopefully there is no carry on like last year, .I felt for vicky Pattison I thought she was going to pass out she was so nervous, and Danni Dyer is shyer than I thought she would be, I didn't watch love island so I don't really know her, looking forward to next week

Hes extremely unpopular, I haven’t seen any support for him whatsoever. Amy has been through so much and the fans want her to do well so much, I can’t see how they thought this pairing would work?!
UNLESS they wanted her to leave the series early to step in for Diane if there’s numbers she can’t do?
Or perhaps she’s got other commitments going on or for some reason didn’t want to go far in the competition.

Surely Dianne’s maternity cover (if needed) will be one of the benched women - Nancy, Luba or Michelle? Luba is too tall for Stefan, I would think, but either of the other two would work.

I wonder how far along Dianne actually is, given that they know the baby’s sex already.

Strictly is on for 3 months so how far along could she be? I know dancers can dance until quite far along, but it seems odd to not just get her to sit out this year. Unless they think Stefan wont be in it for long, but lots of people love Neighbours, so its not guaranteed hell be rubbish

Haven’t read the whole thread….because it’s long. But I’m so pleased Vito was paired with Ellie - he is such a sweet man.

The announcement was she was due 2026 but it could be as early as January couldn't it. I think next week live show they will all over it so we might know more,
