Yeah when I saw the picture of Jasmine I thought she must be Anthony’s child. I think in the flash back episode there was a glimpse of the babies feet and some eagle eye in the last thread said they did not look fully White😂 What are the odds of their paths crossing and she falls pregnant but I guess no more random than Zoe just happening to meet Max in a bar.

Plus there is no other reason for Ant to be back. He literally hasn’t done anything apart from shout at Howie and interact with Zoe. He also told her his marriage is over so maybe they are getting back together. I hope not as he is a dreadful actor, so wooden!!

Jasmine must be trans as her daughter died. It’s been a while since EE ticked off the trans character box - I guess it’s time again.

Stacey and liiy were great casting as mother and daughter,you would think they were actually related
Jasmine looks nothing like Zoe ,so if she's zoes daughter there's no resemblance
I expect Antony is the baby daddy,but I'm not convinced jasmine is the daughter, probably a red herring to throw us of the scent
Also she's not trans ..would they not need an actual trans person to play the part ?

South this is EastEnders, the daughter may not have died though. Zoe herself has a not-dead twin. I wonder if they are going to revisit that Redwater story, or pretend it never happened.

This is EE so who knows if the girl twin did die 🤔

@Autumnpug7 I agree, if the actress is not trans (is she?) then neither is the character.

If she is Zoe’s I’m guessing trans as well. If she is the real daughter there would have to have been a huge conspiracy at the hospital to cover up declaring a baby dead who was actually alive. Anything’s possible in EE la la land I suppose.

It seems Oscar falls for her so could be a storyline around bi-sexual male and trans woman. Multiple boxes ticked there!

Sorry cross posted with others. Yes it would be ludicrous if the daughter is still alive but plausible for an Eastenders storyline! What are the odds of both mother and daughter having twins (and there is no history of twins in the Slaters or on Ant’s side..) and both mother and daughter having one child stolen at birth.

Easties what are the odds of Zoe, Antony and their long lost (dead) daughter all turning up in Walford in the space of three weeks!😆

Ooh I might have to rewatch the Zoe flashback episode now, to see exactly what was said at the hospital during the birth.

But the lady playing the part of Jasmin clearly is not trans in the clip up thread .
Last time they used a trans person to play the part ..Stacy's cousin I believe..also be unlikely to have two trans people in one family...no ?

From what I remember they said Zoe only gave a first (fake) name, an she seemed to leave the hospital very quickly. She did however leave an Ibiza keyring behind, so when someone turns up on the Square with that...

I’ve worked with a few trans people who I would never have thought they’d previously been a different gender. But it was never confirmed Zoe’s daughter died - I’m sure no doctor or nurse told Zoe - so Jasmine probably is the daughter she gave birth to. ETA I was getting confused with what Zoe said about the baby dying, I’ve remembered she fled the hospital and nobody talked to her about the babies.

I wasn’t watching at the time so not sure but think Stacey’s trans relative was a long lost brother? Could be making that up!

Two trans people in the same family is unlikely but as said, Kat & Zoe both having twins in almost identical circumstances is also pretty unlikely😂

How do we know the Jasmine actress is not trans? I know there is a picture of her but personally I wouldn’t be 100% sure I could spot a transwoman from a photo.

But why would Zoe think the daughter was dead unless someone told her that?
I thought there was a scene where a nurse visited her at bedside looking all sorrowful and said the baby had died? But I’ll have to rewatch the episode as well.

I think the story was that Stacey's dad had a secret family and she had a half sister who turned out to be trans. Basically something much less complicated that what's going on now.

Righto.
Here we go.
First flashback (hospital - 2006)
Zoe says to the nurse "There's only one, where's the other one?"

< KEY POINT >

Nurse looks shifty and replies "Dr will come in and speak to you when you're feeling better..."

Zoe mutters "bad blood bad start" and then says she "I want him adopted".

Nurse goes off to speak to Dr and then they both go back to Zoe to find she's scarpered and left the Ibiza key ring behind.

So, not one of the medical professionals said anything definitive about the other baby.

Next flashback.

Zoe in bar with Max says she hasn't got any kids.
Then later in bed, he says "so you've got a kid"
Zoe replies "2, one died the day she was born. The boy, he survived".

So, it was only Zoe who said anything about a baby dying.
No Nurse or doctor confirmed either way.

From this extensive research, and let's be honest - this being EE - 100% means both babies survived, and will be wending their way to E20 via a black cab on a screen near you, very soon!

I'm thinking maybe Zoe surmised the girl twin had died because she wasn't in the room with the boy twin when she asked the nurse where the other one was.
The key bit to that scene is the nurse never responded to Zoe's question directly, just that the Dr will come speak to her.

Ah ok! I remember the nurse looking shifty/sad and saying "the Doctor will come and speak to you" and think I just had a false memory that someone said the baby died.

Perhaps the baby was seriously ill and they thought she was going to die but miracles of miracles, she survived. But in that case, wouldn't the nurse have said "she is very ill, we are doing all we can and the doctor will explain more..."

Anyway, it's all so bizarre because even if she didn't want the babies, you'd think Zoe would have waited to at least hear what the Doctor had to say before she legged it.

No, you are right,
Zoe did say it to Max in bed, "one died the day she was born" so that's where we all thought the girl twin had died, but going back to the hospital flashback, neither the nurse nor the Dr actually said anything to Zoe about what happened to the girl twin.

So the twin is not even Eastenders dead. Absolutely arriving any minute now!

This is the sort of opposite of what happened with Kat who didn’t even realize she had a son who lived.
Which is why I see a ‘ I am your mother ‘ moment again but with Zoe this time repeating those immortal lines.
The new producer needs to try and move on from old storylines people don’t know or remember that well ( not without some research being done to try and recall old back stories)

Oooh Shazza is half the woman she was before she went away. She looks younger.

Haven't seen today's episode but I saw a picture of Sharon's return on Digital Spy. Her fringe looked really, really odd. I'm not sure if it's a wig or the photo was taken at a strange angle but the front of her hair looked...bizarre.

She looked great in today’s episode. I couldn’t tell if she was wearing a wig this time - if she is then it’s a more expensive one than the one she used to wear.
