Oooo loved it , it was such good telly BUT Daniel was a trauma surgeon, no CPR on his mother, not even a quick chest compression? 😂

The nails going rock climbing, a novice with the ropes...

Like an intro scene from “Causality”….. wonder what’s going to happen next

I did love the drone footage of London - made the city look fabulous. The lifestyle porn reminds me of the series about all the lawyers with Nicola grumpy-face in it ….. you can get away with any silly nonsense if the setting is stunning.

Cherry may have had a past - apart from the wedding cake shenanigans - I am not sure what else she did wrong? She told lies/fibs to make her more ‘acceptable’ to that class (where she went to school) and tried hard to curry favour with Laura with her ‘art’ knowledge. I like how the husband liked her.

She didn’t do anything bad to Daniel and she was absolutely bereft when she believed he had died. So Laura was clearly the ‘worst’ by saying Daniel was dead.

I thought L was fantastic actor as was C - especially the dreadful coloured hair and try-hard tacky clothes - big contrast to L’s groomed perfection. Not sure what the silly friend and her daughter brought to it all though.

I got Rita Ora x Kate Winslet.

I actually thought she was Kate Winslets daughter but was like - no I am not googling until after I have watched it all

I thought this was mad, but had to pace it 2 episodes a night only to spread it out.
The only thing that grated me was the mums accent, and it depicting the lower class/the life she wanted to leave. I am not sure why Cherry’s accent wasn’t the same, usually your accent stays the same if you haven’t left your home town by the age of 11. (I haven’t lived in the UK for over 20 years but my northern accent sounds loud and proud lol). I just felt the northerners were - as usual, being represented in this way, when really it’s irrelevant.
