I saw that Carlos was asked what tattoos he's going to get to commemorate this win - I believe he has tattoos for all his slam wins - and he said he's planning to get both the Brooklyn bridge and the Statue of Liberty. He's going to end up with his whole body covered in tourist landmarks by the end of his career.

I just remember him being blonde one week, and dark the next !

Either way- he made the right choice (but with all his money, the original bleach job was rubbish).

I wonder what tourist landmark you could get for the Australian Open? Melbourne doesn’t have a lot of obvious choices. Australia as a whole does obviously, but not Melbourne specifically that I can think of.

Carlos hasn't actually done that well in Australia til now- relative to the other slams. His best results have been QFs . I wonder if AO will be his Achilles heel.
He's had injuries prior to it, before, but obviously he is really young.

I thought what he said was perfectly diplomatic - particularly given that English isn't his first language - yet people still criticised him for it. At the end of the day he's a 22-year old athlete, he's not going to be making a political statement.

There were reports from a tennis page on my Facebook feed (not one I follow) within a day of each other that Carlos was confirmed dating Emma Raducanu and Brooke Nader.
