I suppose Laver Cup and Davis Cup must be happening too soon.

The tennis media were trying to make Carlos and Raducanu a 'thing' from the minute they announced they were playing mixed doubles together. It was gossip for the tournament, and nothing at all to do with tennis. Just added to how annoying the whole set of the Mixed was.

I really don't believe for a second that outside of his matches and practice sessions, Carlos did anything other than spend time with his team and family (getting dodgy haircuts). Somehow making him out to be some playboy type doesnt really ring true .

I doubt these guys are living like monks, but the tabloids are determined to turn the most casual interaction into a relationship. It must be a real minefield trying to meet anyone genuine.

I wore a long sleeved t-shirt yesterday, for the first time in months. I haven't been cold in ages (even though everyone around me has been moaning all week - it took me til yesterday to actually feel it).

It was so wet and windy. Even the dog needed his coat.

I'm in tennis withdrawal and just realised the Laver cup is on bloody TNT Sports, which I don't have.

Damn, I do have TNT, but for all the use their coverage is, I might as well not do.

It's also in San Francisco this year, which means most of the matches will take place overnight UK time.

She was missed at Wimbledon, when she stopped presenting the trophies. (I think she fell out with the organisers at some point).

She obviously was still very well loved and respected within the family, for them to all be at a Catholic requiem mass. First one in centuries. The Duke of Kent looked distraught.

I think she became a teacher or something. She was so lovely to Jana Novotna when she lost.

I thought Kate looked very sad. Of course Princess Michael looked like she was off to the circus
