I saw something in my magazine for the week after brct about the slaters being shocked , so maybe it is Alfie who’s the daddy ! Can’t think of any other slater men who may have been the babies dad.

There's something like Jasmine Blossom ( Chinese restaurant )
But after the Argie Barjie no Indian restaurants.

There's no Kebab or Turkish restaurants and no Turkish Barbers
This is such an oversight ! . East End London has more Turkish Barbers than banks now .
Where do the male population get their hair cut ? Fox&Hair ?

Ha ha, good luck getting an appointment at Fox and Hair ! Agree that a nice Turkish Barber with the fire flames for the ears is needed there ! ( some of the ones in our town look a tad dodgy, but I am told they are good )
Or a kebab shop!

Do we know anything about Callum and Stuart's mum?
Will she be the next to have a below the knee stepping out a black cab shot?

We have loads , first time DS went they put the towels round him, got a small bowl of foam then the barber put a fresh blade on the razor handle (one of those cut throat types !) , DS eyes were What The Actual Jeff ?

70s Ravi wasn’t getting money back from Bernie, he was just regaining control of the businesses from her. She had been set up as ‘guardian’ for Avani and Nugget so presumably he is taking over that role. I've lost track of what is left of the empire!

Poor Zac, what has he done to deserve Zoe? There will probably go there though!

I don't think we have ever heard anything about Callum's mother. We had Vi, his gran, who was Jonno's mum.

Thanks @Shellingbynight I had totally forgotten about Vi!

I wonder if she will be back for the funeral or if there will be a lame excuse. I know Stuart and Ben are there, but I haven't heard Vi mentioned.

Do Callum and Stuart have the same mum?
Was never sure if they were half brothers or full.
Is the funeral next week then? Very odd storyline in any case.

Oh yes , Vi was the actress from Duty Free (Gwen Taylor)
When they lived in the flat above the Funeral Parlour with the very lairy floral paper and the pink wall which really annoyed me as they didn;t match it to any of the colours in the floral -and there were many colours to match with !

Zak'n'Zoe are a sure bet as both as moping about as unhappy singles who probably don;t want any complications right now .

Phil was sizing Julie up , but I was thinking Don't Go There Phil !

The funeral isn't next week, it isn't mentioned in spoilers yet.

While I was looking, I saw there is a new character arriving on the 23rd called Jasmine, who is rumoured to be Zoe's daughter. (Yes yes I know, Zoe thought she died but of course she didn't.). Info about her is embargoed.

They'd need to get someone to work in the Funeral Parlour 'cos at the moment I don;t think anyone does .

Stu can come back and do the necessary - he hated his Dad more than Callum did - and make sure every bolt on his casket is well and truly screwed down . Just to make sure .

70s what a coincidence, I've just watched the episode where Tanya and Sean bury Max alive in a wooden casket in the middle of Epping forest a wood.

Stuart does come back for the funeral, there were photos ages ago

Just watched the trailer for The Girlfriend and Julie is in it.

She was in the Jury the other week as the mum of the defendant. Most discombobulating when you're trying to believe it's a real trial, albeit with actors, much better if you don't recognise anyone!

I know he is loved but I wish they'd write callum out

Just dont care about his grief about his dad. Or about Lee or whatever his name is

TPTB are only interested in Callum for Ben's return. No one cares about Callum and Johnny (no chemistry) or Callum's grief, or Jonno's funeral, it's just a device for Ben to show up at the funeral.

I actually find Callum and Johnny more convincing as as a couple than Callum and Ben. I don’t think C&J have great chemistry (mainly because Callum is so dull/wet it’s difficult to pair him with anyone and see sparks fly) but it’s unbelievable that he is a police officer and married to a thuggish criminal like Ben. They are like chalk and cheese and Ben has treated him so badly , at least Johnny is half decent.

Anyway…why would Ben attend the funeral of his homophobic FIL and why would the US authorities let him out just for that??

Johnny and Callum are a very good match. Very believable and natural.

I thought that Ben was being transferred to a UK prison. It was mentioned once in the midst of time, but not sure of the actual deets.
Why he’d want to go to that funeral I’ve no idea tbh.
