Zoe isn’t Joel’s mother unless he has suddenly aged 4 years. It can’t be Den’s baby, he died in Feb 2005 and Zoe’s birth was in 2006.

Max is probably the guy who has been harassing her for money. He arrived on EE in 2006 after she left, so must have met her more recently.

The flaming gun! Total incompetence but at least Ravi made Jack&Jack take it. Next thing Denise will find it in his jacket pocket. 😄

I have never seen a gun but surely the very least you do is put in a bath of bleach to get rid of all dna/prints until you can get rid of it. They are both constantly handling the blasted thing!

The canel for the gun boys! It needs to be done. They will probably put it in the big bins with his clothes and it’ll be found at Christmas

So is max also getting a new personality then? I know he went a bit crafty and menacing after Abi died blackmailing people but to come back as some sort of terrifying mobster chasing Zoe across the globe doesn't really fit with max much, does it?

Max has always been dodgy.

What’s confusing me is what Zoe did that was so terrible? Maybe she killed someone, Max knows, and is blackmailing her…except she has no money so forget that theory.

I thought in the flashbacks Zoe was having at the hospital in 2006, that she was going to kill the baby boy twin that survived after she was traumatised about the baby girl twin that died 😲

What are the chances that both mother (Kat) and daughter (Zoe) would have boy/girl twins as isn't Zoe a twin herself?

If it is Max who is threatening her I guess he has loaned her money and wants it back. Wasn't that what she originally said, that she owed money? I can see him as a moneylender. Although I don't really expect it to make any more sense than Oscar taking a gun he didn't know was there.

The 19 year old son is guaranteed to turn up by Christmas.

according to the Wiki, Dirty Dens last appearance was feb 2005, and Zoe left pretty much straight after his murder.

I was confused because when they showed the hands only they were white, but when they showed the baby it looked East Asian.

It's really hard to remember 20 years ago. I recall Anthony shagging Kat but not Zoe, the weird Dirty Den thing and her snogging her friend in a crashed bus, but can't recall a lot about her relationship with Kat and what sort of journey that took. I assumed that when Kat was in Spain and broke off with Alfie because she was shagging a Russian and one of the twins got hurt that they were there with Zoe.

Zoe was a Twin, there was a boy, Luke, who was given up for adoption. the family only bought home Zoe.

Max being back and involved with Zoe is a bit farfetched. I'm going to have to have subtitles on now he is back.

At least Stacey has free reign to shag him now, although he's better matched to Nicola.

Wasn't Luke the priest living in Ireland that Kat and Alfie went to track down in RedWater, the EE spin-off?

I was referring to Dennis, his son who Zoe has a relationship with. Don’t you remember the gorgeous Dennis (if you were watching then)?

To be entirely fair, most uk doctors won't have had hands on experience with a gunshot wound, and even less in the community without a trauma team... The first aid box full of sweets did make me smile though. I'm surprised Walford doesn't have the bleed kits they have for knife wounds, especially after Shakeel and the boy Tommy stabbed...

Not sure what use PND screening 5 mins after birth and blood transfusion, they would have needed the mh team to review. Plus they would have got social care involved from the point of delivery given noone knew who she was or presumably what care she had... And the "get the adoption process started" line was clunky. But let's not get facts in the way of the story.

I wonder if the Max thing is a complete misdirect and hehappened to be making a phone call to someone else at that time - this wasn't who was on with Kat.

I can't see that Stacey would have ever listened and stayed put rather than legged it out to her kids.

Yes, Nigel Harman was the actor. Wasn't he with Sharon despite his dad being her adoptive dad? And wasn't Denny their son?

I loved tonight’s episode so much I’ve just watched it again.

Yes, he finally got with Sharon and they had Denny - I think he had a fling with Sam and the Jill Halfpenny character before Sharon as well as seeing Zoe. Such a shame he died because he was a great character and very sexy!

So.. Zoe isn’t Joel’s mum? But where is her son now and who is the dad….

The Ibiza keyring. shown for a reason? Didn’t Roxy and Ronnie run a bar in Ibiza? Maybe there is a Mitchell connection there somewhere ?
The slaters and Mitchell’s have had beef before.

Well Max isn't the dad but his involvement atleast makes sense now. Zoe is obviously just his replacement Stacey. That PI guy was obviously scamming her so he deserved to be bumped off, yes she was desperate to find her son but it was clearly self defence so i dont understand the big trauma behind it all, even if its all monotone. Annoyed she left the 5k behind though 🤣.

Max said Abi is with his ex wife, assuming Tanya? Lauren has said a few times she spoken to her mum briefly but no mention of abi or anything, Oscar hadn't mentioned it either iirc.
