Watching classic EE makes me miss all the friendships that were around.
Pat and Peggy, Hev and Shirl, Gary and Minty, Ronnie and Roxy (sisters I know), Roxy and Christian.
Just watched Gary and Minty line dancing to Achy Breaky Heart 😂

I've only caught up on last few episodes. So confused over the gun, sorry if it's been answered in the thread already but how did Oscar know where Harry hid the gun in that yard and why did he even go looking in there in the first place?? Then I couldn't work out how Ravi knew the gun was hidden at Jacks. It was all so convoluted.

So Jack has now concealed a murder (Keanu), falsely implicated Penny in the club crush, concealed Oscar's involvement in Patrick's robbery and now hidden and discharged a gun. Yet still a copper.

And it's been bugging me but I'm sure there was an identical scenario with two people fighting over a gun in the Square garden and someone getting shot a few years back but can't remember who was involved.

The wedding was bizarre because it looked as if it was shot months ago in the Summer and the venue looked like Croydon/Shoreditch box park with all those containers. How could 17 year old Oscar organize a steel band and all that additional stuff in a couple of hours!!

Easties It is a mystery how Oscar knew Harry hid anything, or where he hid it. I don't know why Ravi suddenly knew the gun was hidden at Jack's either. And I agree Oscar wouldn't have had any contacts to organise the wedding. There is a real lack of joined up storytelling.

Oscar saw Harry coming away from the guns hiding place so decided to look and take it. I know, it’s so ridiculous!

The whole business with the gun has been so annoying. I can just about buy Oscar happening on the gun as Harry looked so shifty and the gun wasn't exactly well hidden, but then Jack walks around the square with a gun, hides it in his bedroom and leaves the house, thinking he will take it into work the next day?? Ravi sniffs out what's happened somehow and finds the gun...honestly it's nonsense. I suppose none of us knows much about guns, and the scriptwriters are no different. But I know you shouldn't just have a random gun in your house if you're a police officer!

Also makes no sense as Oscar was so relieved atnarrowly escaping going back inside after the Patrick robbery then a day later...decides to pick up a random gun. And it's not as if he planned to do anything with it, he was just carrying it around the square in the duffel bag!

I felt sorry for Lexi, such unfortunate timing for her. Although I don't understand why Billy and Calum think it's appropriate to take a 13 year old to a cocktail bar for drag queen Bingo. It also looked like it was the middle of the school day. Very odd. I rolled my eyes at Johnny reeling off the cliches: bring her paracetamol, hot water bottle, ice cream and chocolate. First periods aren't usually painful and I personally don't recall finding any of those things useful lol.

My mind was blown last night thinking that Zoe is Mo's GREAT granddaughter! I've just looked up Mo's age and she's 89!! (Leila Morse is 80). 😮

Kat is 55. Lynne is 56. (so Mo was only 34 when she became a grandmother)
Zoe is 41 (making Mo a GG at 48).

I also felt the "whatever" signs outside the toilet doors were a bit pointed re the recent SC judgement

@thisoldcity yes! and even leaving aside Jack 'hiding' a gun in a house with a door which seems to be made of cardboard, he did not remove the bullets from the gun and keep them separate! He left a loaded gun in a house he shares with teenagers. Idiocy of the highest order, but then he is also responsible for his own daughter ending up in a wheelchair.🙄

@Eastie77Returns the period scenes with Lexi made me absolutely cringe. I knew they had to be written by a man so I checked when the credits came up, and yes they were.
