Zoe is horrible. She needs a load of therapy. I can’t remember what happened between Kat and her after the ‘I am your mother’ screeching

Maybe after Lacey has had a break she may return? Never say never eh!
It’ll be sad to see her go , she is a good little actress.

Zoe and Kat left on good terms. This is all rubbish really , being mean and nasty.
I feel I would have lost my temper with her tbh.

They departed in 2005 on good terms, but the five years before that (after she found out Kat was her mother) were bumpy. Kat wanted to see her in 2015 but Zoe didn’t want to, so this kind of relationship we’re now seeing hasn’t come out of nowhere. Without therapy, I don’t know how I could deal with knowing I was the child of my uncle who raped my 13 year old mum, the mum who I knew for years as my sister. Charlie and Lynn also kept the truth from her. Zoe definitely needs some counselling!

It is a bit baffling because they are expecting the audience to remember what happened 20 years ago. I remember them both shagging Antony, and there was a lot of Slater shouting. But I think they were on reasonably good terms as South says. Zoe's subsequent refusal to see Kat seemed to be because Michelle wouldn't return, there was no particular reason given.

I don't know why Zoe has started yelling about it all being Kat's fault. It needs to make a lot more sense than it does at the moment.

I'm starting to think Zoe has some kind of self-loathing/hatred because of the circumstances around her conception. She wishes she had never been born and is on a self-destructive path as thinks her life is worthless.

She needs therapy, Kat was right.
I have a distant relative who had a terrible experience ( not this though ) as a small child and it’s affected her forever :(

Zoe needs to try and move on .. but she needs help and now she ( may) have been shot ( or her mum Mighy have done !) .. this won’t help lol

Let’s face it, nobody remembers 20 years ago on EE ! I know there is wiki, but there is acres of it and hard to plow through !

Yes, I agree. I also think she has trauma that hasn’t been processed and that the writing for her this time round has - so far - been plausible.

I can't remember what Kat done/said that was so bad either.

How did Ravi know the gun was at Jack and Jack's house?

Yep, re gun, but I did rewatch it today to see the venue for the wedding again and Harry told Ravi something about Jack and Jack and guns , so I think he sort of worked it out. Dee seeing Ravi’s hair as a shadow was funny !

They're back for a week, and nothing is resolved

They go away

Then they come back a few weeks later

Kat and Zoe were always arguing ! Especially after movver gate

just seen one theory that it's Mo.

She hasn't been in it much recently, and was weirdly included quite a bit tonight, including the 'my heart, a final chippy dinner' line which might be foreshadowing.

Zoe says “if I’ll stay I’ll destroy your family”. It’s kind of a ‘I’ve done something bad way. Could she have a secret that will be upsetting. What could she have done? If she gave up Joel- it wouldn’t destroy Kat. Could she be have been part of the baby swap thing- could she have something to do with Tommy? What would destroy Kat?

I don’t understand why they’re delaying today’s episode? I haven’t read anything that a character dies and haven’t seen any funeral pics lately (which always get leaked to the Daily Mail etc). Maybe someone’s returning. I can’t see whatever Zoe did would explain this delay even if she did something as horrific as killing someone. I don’t know - maybe she found out about Dernott and killed him?

There were pics of Stuart Highway at a funeral not that long ago, but I don't think anyone dies. I don't think it will be Kat or Zoe who is shot, might be Alfie, Mo or Tommy.
I don't want Zoe to be Joel's mum, or have a fake id past and long lost child (just like Cindy)
I think hope she has killed someone and is on the run.

A character dies next week or the week after but this isn’t the person who gets shot in today’s episode - the character who dies is Callum and Stuart’s father who returns next week and soon after has a fatal heart attack.

It must have been delayed due to the Zoe secret. Maybe it will be a surprise, and really interesting and believable. But the producer's work so far has been disappointing, so I am not hopeful on that score.

There is also the who got shot issue, but that isn't particularly interesting and we already know who did the shooting. I am going to be really interested to see how Jack gets out of this one.

I don’t remember anything about Kat and Zoe’s relationship. I know I always loved the slater family when they first came, I stopped watching around fifteen years ago and then restarted during one of the lockdowns .
i presumed whatever happened between happened during my hiatus from the square.

Why is there no stenders this morning on iplayrr? Have I got my days wrong? I can never remember if they do weds and Fri ?

They do Weds (not Fri) and it will be on this evening, but is withheld from early release to keep us all in suspense.

Why hasn't tonight's episode dropped on iPlayer yet? 😔
