I missed Billy saying that. I had actually forgotten Will existed, he is hardly ever on screen. But I agree there is a complete lack of ambition amongst the lot of them. I suppose they want to keep it 'true to its roots' so everyone has to either be a local business owner, do lower paid work - or be a criminal of course. That's always popular.🤑

Priya and Ravi’s (non) reaction to Avani failing her exams was also ridiculous. It was just a pat on the head and ‘never mind you’ve had a tough year, exams are not that important’ which is crap. Failing English and Maths leaves her with virtually no options! And it’s not as if Grandad Nish’s businesses are doing well. They are actually terrible parents as they never hold her accountable. She should have received a lecture about unprotected sex with Joel but that was overlooked so they could scream at Suki. Her strip search was very unfortunate but even then if she hadn’t been skipping school and messing about with a drug dealer it wouldn’t have happened.

Amy is about to be born in classic eastenders (saw a few minutes of it the other day) which is in late 2008, so she’s nearly 17!

I remember Jack saying Amy did well in her exams when Avani and Nugget and their parents were talking about their exam results

Today’s one was a bit strange I thought.
How come Zoe changed her mind about coming back just because Tommy asked her to? After hiding for so long?
They were on a tube train one minute then a cab when the tubes must run to Walford? We often hear and see them going there.
How did Oscar get the chairs so quickly etc? How did he pay for things ? What exactly was Kim meant to be doing ? Now Jack knows about the gun!
It was all disjointed with Tommy and the wedding in one episode.

Tommy lured zoe with the promise of cash (maybe working with okie?)

Oh I see! She didn’t think that her mum would be there maybe ? He may have lied I guess. It didn’t make it clear.

They were pushing the boundaries of any sense today. And Zoe is annoying me already. I do love Oscar though, it’s rare to have a new character that you like so quickly.

I like Oscar! I hope he stays on.
I found today’s one so annoying. Made little sense and seemed all over the shop tbh.

I assumed he meant robbing the till in the pub.

I skipped through all of the wedding stuff, so fed up of Yolande’s sour face.

I did think that Tommy had lured Zoe there but it was one hell of a change of heart from her not wanting to see Kat to stepping out of the cab and facing her.

Maybe Tommy made it sound as if Kat wouldn’t be there ? It was a bit odd.

Tommy said he did have a way to get her some cash quickly but she wouldn't like how they would get it. So I'm assuming he told her that meant going back to the square. Zoe didn't seem very shocked to see Kat standing there so I thought she knew there was a chance of bumping into her atleast.

Tommy said to Zoe ‘I can get you real money, but you might not like where it’s from’ or something to that effect. So she’s there for the cash. Tommy was 'earning' money from Okie's stolen phones, along with Joel.

I don’t know why they didn’t stay on the tube though! I thought Kat was very good in today’s episode, annoying as it all is.

Rudolph Walker looked as if he was enjoying the wedding music!

I still don't understand (a) how Oscar knew Harry hid anything, he arrived as Harry was leaving or (b) why he took the gun.

Think Oscar took the gun because he wanted to help Jack and be a hero. But if okie is a plant then he will have ruined Jack's plans -hrnce " you stupid, stupid boy"

They all seem to find flats to live in really easily without any of the checks and deposits and hoop jumping you usually have to deal with. Zoe may have been staying with friends , but it didn’t look that way. I suppose the flat will be forgotten now anyway ( as Stacey’s one was )
Will she pay Stacey back her money?
Is there room at the Vic for her , or maybe the slaters house ?

Zoe said something about 'I've only got the flat for another week' - she probably got it via some dodgy means. Everything she does seems dodgy!

I thought Jack said 'you stupid boy' because Oscar is on a tag, barely missed going back to juvey last week and is now in possession of a firearm.

Not much makes sense about EE at the moment though. Like why Zoe had an epic meltdown about never meeting Kat because of the dreaded secret, then turning up in the square just on Tommy's promise of some cash.

80s I think Zoe was staying in an AirBnB type place as she told Tommy "not to get too comfy, I've only paid for one more night".
Still, I don't know where the money would've come from for that.

I thought Kat was good in this episode.
I've got a soft spot for Oscar, the young rapscallion.

An air b and b is still a fair amount of money even in a rougher location as that seemed to be. I missed the bit about another week. What was her plan after that ?
Why can’t she find a job ? She is very sleazy , I bet she has dabbled with prostration in the past for cash or some pimp or drug dealer may show up looking for her ! She looks trouble and was doing ok at one point.

Yep, one minute they are loafing around not getting married , the next it’s a full on party and fancy chairs and a steel drum crew. They did look happy , but so far fetched!

Zoe's place looked like a hell hole, do people really airbnb those type of places?

I agree the wedding was ridiculous, the will-they-won't-they stuff was just a waste of tiem.

I just don't get how Oscar, who's been in the Square for what, a month? can start calling in favours for the wedding!

Also did not like Yolande's dress, in my opinion, she doesn't suit the Jane Austen P&P empire line vibe.
Such a shame because she's been wearing some nice dresses recently.
Nice that they had the lovely summer weather to film it though.
How cute were Raymond and Jordan together!
