Johnny is back from the cruise and Linda is still cruising with Annie and Ollie. I wonder if they’ll ever return. I like Elaine but in today’s episode she felt like a spare part and u can’t see a future in the show for the character.

Linda will have to return so that Max can make a big to-do about Annie!

Strange that Linda hasn’t returned with Johnny !

That’s some cruise that they are now on a beach in Mexico. How the hell have they got there!

Johnny’s new man was gorgeous. Callum and his drab clothes could not compete with him!
Antnee looked well too. Nice that Kat was actually pleased to see him. I thought she’d be upset seeing him again , but my memory of all that with him and Zoe is a bit vague tbf.
Oh dear , I thought that Dee was being too harsh , then she was ok and now Oscar has confessed! Dee seems to forget her part in actual manslaughter not too long ago and covering it up not to mention the other things Lauren brought up too with Chelsea and Penny etc.

For a singles cruise that Elaine originally bought for Priya , I thought it would be the Med , tops ! It was 5k for one person , so goodness knows what the actual cost is now with extra people going on it! Lol
Totally far fetched and expensive too.

I don't know what you mean 80s, all Dee did was bury a body. Then dig it up and bury it again. 😆

Shelling , she got Jack involved with the buried necklace saga !

Shelling, yep! Trouble is , they do these ridiculous things and then it bites them on the bum when someone else messes up and it’s like ‘ oh, but you did this and that previously’ ! It must be hard living in Walford. Your personal skeletons are never buried ( well, they bury people , unbury them , cover up things etc , but it stays with them )

I liked the way Jack reminded her about it!
Poor Patrick, it is going to be so hard for him, he was just getting over it.

I see Anthony's acting has not improved in the last 20 years.

I am so fed up now! The stories are all over the shop and next week there is a gun doing the rounds at the wedding.

And why are they not telling everyone that Howie has the money

That's what I want to know too - about Howie and the money! None of them seem that bothered about it tbh 🙄

Assume Linda won’t be back in time for Ollie’s return to school and surely Annie is due to start as well but kid’s education never seems to stand in the way of EE residents going away for months. Albie has been awol since February. I’m on hols so haven’t seen Antnee’s return but reckon I’ll fast forward his scenes. He was drab and uninspiring before and it doesn’t sound as if anything’s changed. I think I read he works out Howie’s involvement.

Dee is a massive hypocrite. She used Jack to cover up her crimes when it suited her and encouraged him to choose Chelsea over his own daughter in the club crush fiasco.

The money hasn’t been mentioned. I admit it would be the first thing I would ask ( I know poor Patrick is in shock , but there are plenty of other people who know that the money was stolen ? Or maybe they don’t know , only Howie ?) Patrick hasn’t asked about it even before today’s one, but he was trying to hide the winnings from Yolande I suppose !

School isn’t mentioned much for the children is it !
Maybe Ollie and Annie will come back speaking Mexican and Albie with an Aussie accent and good at body boarding !

Lauren mentioned the money yesterday, she said something like 'aren't you interested in where the money has gone?" and Dee said "no one's interested in the money, we're interested in Patrick". I think Lauren will dob Howie in at some point.

I missed that re Dee and the money. I admit that it all becomes a bit confluted at times ( or I go on my phone and miss things !)
Have they given up running the salon ? You never see it these days.

Yes I heard that too, but couldn't believe no-one else is that bothered about it either. Maybe they didn't know how much there actually was taken?

Dee is never seen in the salon and even when she was, she was never working - just standing behind Reception. Lola was the only one who seemed to do any work there and Kim occasionally.

Everyone’s work situations are bizarre. Who runs Ian’s Pie and Mash shop now Peter is on the stall? Jack is a serving police officer able to take months off to look after his sister who had an injured collarbone! Although he’s so ineffective maybe Walford nick didn’t notice he wasn’t there.

I think it's one of the many reasons I've stopped watching. I could cope with the bizarre work situations/off tilt reality, until they completely changed everyone's character. I can't make sense of any of it, then add in the merry go round of absences, I'm completely lost, and have given up with it. The plots now seem to be what suit the staff rota, and not about the show/character development

It’s madness , but it has a different feel to it at the moment and that trailer for Zoe return and the song is giving me an ear worm! I keep on humming it 😩it’s on all the time.
I read that it’s Tommy who finds her : considering Alfie couldn’t , what did he do differently? .. it is crazy.

I agree Lola was the only one who did any work at the salon. Nowadays we see Dee at home/the Vic. And Jack spends his life lurking around the Square uncovering crimes then ignoring them.

80s to be fair Alfie couldn't find his own backside with both hands! But I guess Zoe must have come back to the UK, I can't believe Tommy has a passport. But yes, it's crazy!

Next week is a busy one. Guns, a wedding , Zoe back
Felt exhausted reading next weeks one in advance! Lol
