Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

They keep emphasising Okie carries a gun so that must be there for a reason, either to shoot someone or get shot himself.

the80sweregreat · 23/08/2025 16:27

Hopefully Okie dies and Kojo can stay on.

Jennalong · 23/08/2025 16:30

Shellingbynight · 23/08/2025 11:37

@Jennalong I agree about Zoe, I never really rated the character or the actress. I think she would be better left in the past, but maybe they will prove me wrong!

Hopefully as she is to stay apparently .

Eastie77Returns · 24/08/2025 07:53

Zoe was a poor actress the first time round and her mini reappearance earlier this year didn’t show much improvement. But the tired old storyline of running from gangsters/drug dealers or whoever she owed money to didn’t help. Or did it turn out she was faking the threats?

Perhaps Kojo is shot and George takes him back to Ghana to recover and be with the other brother. Colin Salmond’s acting seems half hearted atm so maybe he’s due a screen break. George isn’t doing much apart from hanging around Phil’s kitchen and sleeping with Nicola.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/08/2025 09:48

Colin Salmon is in the new "Nobody 2 " film , so he's been busy off the Square .

IF this was real life , he'd be doing loads at the Boxing Den as Sharon is away , Phil is busy with Nigel (and behind the scenes I'm sure he;s busy with Raymond as Denice will be helping with Patrick while she dials in a shift at the salon . Though Raymond must be in the Holly-Daze Kiddie Kupboard )

The Boxing Den must be a popular spot for teens/regulars during the school holidays ( they did run some classes when Zac was there )

DD reckons Phil let David Peckham out on purpose . Though I am impressed that he built a chicken coop so quickly it was really selfish of Julie to roll up with 3 chickens and expect someone (that someone beng Phil who has been looking after her husband ) to accept this .

I predict :
One of the teens (probably Lexi) will go Militant Evangelical Vegan overnight and be one of those utter Pain-In-The-Arse-Vegans who will loudly chastise everyone about Meat Is Murder . Then in 3 months be back at McClunkys, their hard line views on you cannot eat DavidP will be forgotten ( bit like Nuggets dialysis )

Shellingbynight · 24/08/2025 10:25

They are missing a trick having no militant-teen-vegan at the moment, I can imagine Lexie stepping into the breach.

Although no one is going to eat the chickens, Julie never stops banging on about them being pets. It was convenient the other two chickens didn't bother to escape wasn't it? I suspect at some point either Phil or an exasperated neighbour will release them and cross fingers the fox is around.

the80sweregreat · 24/08/2025 11:51

Would Nugget be on dialysis for life after what happened? They did show him
up the hospital , but it hasn’t been mentioned for ages and not sure if it would be forever in real life?
Does anyone know ? Maybe he just takes himself and everyone else are too busy with other things to worry too much !

Shellingbynight · 24/08/2025 14:11

They definitely said he needed long term dialysis. That was why he was struggling so much (until they forgot about it). Normally the only way out of it would be a kidney transplant.

murasaki · 24/08/2025 14:21

My mum is on it, and it's done at home, basically she's plugged in by my dad overnight and he changes the kit as necessary, someone came to the house to train him. The other option was to go in three times per week for at least 4 hours a pop, as I remember. This gives them a life during the daytime although it's rough on him. Maybe they've done that, but you'd think it would be mentioned if so.

gingercat02 · 24/08/2025 14:30

It's not uncommon to need short term dialysis after acute renal failure. It just gives the kidneys time to recover from (in Nuggets case) the drug damage from the steroids Denzil gave him

the80sweregreat · 24/08/2025 15:26

I suppose that Nugget is just going up to the hospital on his own! It can’t be far away as they all end up in there at some point and it doesn’t take long to get there!

Shellingbynight · 24/08/2025 17:14

They just left the storyline in mid air. They never said 'no need for any more dialysis' or 'now we have equipment at home'. One moment he was going in to hospital regularly for dialysis, then it was never mentioned again.

murasaki · 24/08/2025 18:10

I guess they didn't want to give the message 'hey kids, you can take steroids for a bit, bulk up to get the girls then the NHS will fix your damaged kidneys in a week' so left it hanging so that we'd assume treatment was ongoing.

Or it crossed timewise with new producer so he just binned the story.

InALonelyWorld · 24/08/2025 18:11

Iirc Nuggets dialysis was last mentioned around Christmas time. Ravi was meant to go with him and Priya to the hospital but was too busy frolicking with Dee. I'm sure there was a big deal about it though, as i thought they were saying it was his last one but Google seems to say he's still being treated. So perhaps I've made all that up.

murasaki · 24/08/2025 18:17

That does ring a vague bell.

They're actually great with the home stuff, dad was trained properly and they approved the physical set up ( he enjoyed building a work station for it), medical waste is collected on time, deliveries too. And oddly, should you go on holiday to a house/flat, they can deliver to you there, even in the EU. That one blew my mind as this is all NHS, not private. They've not tried the holiday option as she's not up to it right now, but nice to know they can.

Eastie77Returns · 24/08/2025 21:33

@InALonelyWorld I definitely remember the episode where everyone was saying it was Nugget’s last dialysis. I remember being surprised as I thought he was on it for life.

I’m confused as to what is happening to Kojo. Jack said he absolutely had to arrest him. Then suddenly he was busy at the stag, dealing with Oscar/Howie and seems to have completely forgotten about the arrest.

I feel sorry for Phil. His house is suddenly busier than a rush hour tube station with Nigel & wife, George staying and bringing Kojo round with all that drama plus the flipping chickens. And Nigel’s wife is over bearing and in complete denial.

Well according to fb, this is what's happening with Kojo 🤣😅

the80sweregreat · 24/08/2025 22:05

I can’t see Kojo as undercover!
( I know this is EE where anything is possible though )

Meredusoleil · 24/08/2025 22:21

Seriously! Wtaf?

Southeastdweller · 24/08/2025 22:28

Fan speculation on Facebook is always accurate, of course 🤣

I thought Oakie was the under cover cop?

He's blazed onto the square untouchable .
Vincent (Kyms DH) who we all thought was a bad'un turned out to be a Police Informer so might be similar for Oakie

NowNumber5 · 25/08/2025 08:06

It's very odd how they keep having traditionally evening events in the mid afternoon! - Yolande and Patrick's hen and stag "nights".
How is everyone able to attend? What about their jobs and businesses 😁
Julie and Howie are both annoying me now.

drwitch · 25/08/2025 08:22

Perhaps they give kojo immunity in exchange for being wired up?

Shellingbynight · 25/08/2025 08:52

It'll be interesting to see how Jack&Jack going to explain not bothering to arrest Kojo straight away, days have passed. But I don't expect things to make sense in EE nowadays. I think this is yet another plot point we are supposed to have amnesia about, like Nic killing Shireen.
