Masterchef (GW & JT last series)

Didn't see a thread. Starts tonight.

There was a poll on the local BBC site asking if people were watching after the latest revelations and sackings. Views seem mixed many saying its part it's best and needs to go, others saying they'll still watch it only fair to the contestants and many saying they couldn't care less about the GW/JT situation.

I've been making small batches of jam. Ordinary and victoria plum jam. Strawberry and apricot. Our market fruit stall sells off bags for 50p.
Nomi and this guy are a bit toooo cheerful.

On the basis that one of the Laws Of MasterChef is the person with the job most useful to society wins and gives it all up to become a food influencer/pop-up chef, I'm going to say the therapeutic radiographer doing mangoes is going to win the whole thing.

We’ve got a greengage tree and it’s laden this year. Just about all I've done for days is produce greengage compote to freeze for consumption over winter.

One less therapeutic radiologist, one more food pop up owner.

I love gooseberries and they are nowhere to be found this year. Waitrose has let me down. I have to go miles to a farm shop to get them. (And they cost a bloody fortune.).

We used to have a red gooseberry bush in my childhood garden, they were stupendous fruits, so sweet you could eat them raw.
