There was a poll on the local BBC site asking if people were watching after the latest revelations and sackings. Views seem mixed many saying its part it's best and needs to go, others saying they'll still watch it only fair to the contestants and many saying they couldn't care less about the GW/JT situation.

Is Grace mooted for the main show or just the celeb one? I read she'd already recorded the celeb one with just John after the Gregg debacle. May not be shown now, I suppose. I always get Grace Dent mixed up with Kate Spicer for some reason.

Me too, how odd, they're not very similar at all are they? Took an irrational dislike to KS when she got a free face-lift courtesy of a TV programme and remarked on the need to attract younger men. Not improper but squirmy.

Just been catching up on the picnic episode.
Think Grace's dress was from Aspiga and, if so, was almost identical to the one I wore to a family wedding except mine had long sleeves. Quite chuffed about that. Wasn't sure about her hair though. It looked like she'd backcombed it ready to put it in a French pleat, then forgotten to do so.
V. impressed at Hannah (I think?) making her own puff pastry and her Battenburg was so neat.
Wondered if any Come Dine With Me contestants were watching and chuntering that people weren't making their own filo pastry or spring roll wraps.
There's always someone complaining about that on CDWM and inevitably they're the ones using sauce from a jar or microwave rice.

I had grandsons birthday cake from the freezer with plum jam made this morning from plums liberated from my neighbour's tree (well they are in India for a month and the plums would have been off by the time they get back)
