When they bring people in/back they are always bloody annoying at first, and show everyone their worst side, then they switch personality. I don't know why they do this. I guess it's about making an entrance, but it feels really predicatable and contrived.

I do remember Dennis spurning Zoe because he loved Sharon. I think she’s just lying and also being provocative in order to get Sharon’s money. She knows that family it’s important to her and this is a really manipulative move. The truth will probably be held back for ages I suppose until they have a DNA test or something like that maybe? It’s bound to run and run.

Sharon’s face! She’s also lost loads of weight. I wish plastic surgery on faces wasn’t a thing. Everyone ends up looking the same, and then their face falls apart when they’re old. It’s so sad that people can’t just learn to accept and love themselves.

She’s easily the worst character on there, for me just now. Stacey seems to be the only one even attempting to put her in her place.

Although why Sharon wants to insert herself in that boys life, like she has any rights, I’ve no idea.

The whole ‘ you need to find this boy because his family’ is just a weak plot device to tie in grubby Zoe with Sharon , but I suppose it could happen that people want to find long lost children after so many years. She said she had tried everything in the past , but Sharon has the money to do it properly. Although I’ve no idea how you would go about it tbh.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the “son” is Jasmine. The writers are mad enough. I’m assuming Linda will return to the Square just as Max reappears. Then there will be all the keeping quiet that he’s Annie’s father etc etc etc. Then there will be the custody battle. ‘Asss my daugh’er”. Linda’s drink will be brought into it “you ain’t a fit muvva”. Can you tell I’ve watched this for 40 years x

@the80sweregreat No course she won’t! The script writing is selective. Most of it’s nonsense but barely missed an episode since 1985 😂😂

I do enjoy watching it despite everything. It’s mostly well acted and I like most of the characters.
It’s just far fetched storylines that make it a bit silly sometimes I think. They also do a lot right though.
