Maybe Harry is just acting but I like him and Shakira. They seem playful, affectionate and happy. I do actually think that they are compatible. I sort of see the awkwardness others have described but I attribute that partly to Helena being around at first and partly to the fact that they are much newer than other couples.
The proof of the pudding will be whether Harry can resist the temptation of women throwing themselves at him after this (and sadly I think they will be) and I suspect the answer to that will be no.
I know she’s polarising but I like Shakira and think she at least owns her mistakes. Unbelievable that Meg said to her that she didn’t like her but when Shakira said it back, Meg was immediately playing the victim.
I like Toni and Cach but don’t think that they are compatible. I don’t think they’ll last.
Yas and Jamie I do see as genuine and lasting.
Ty and Angel - Ty is a good guy but Angel is vacuous and jarring. Her fake laugh goes right through me.
Dejon and Meg cannot win. Meg is dim and has been exploited by Dejon but if I hear her say “ but we are boyfriend and girlfriend” like it means anything to him and is some sort of golden handcuff guarantee to winning, one more
time…aaarrgh
It’s interesting that I can’t recall anyone ever referring to the cameras in previous seasons never mind saying that they must adjust their behaviour to play to them. They do know we are watching, right?!
I think Meg needs constant affirmation and validation - this is why she’s unravelling as her posse has disappeared. Dejon is blaming her for their being unpopular on the outside - obviously it can’t have been him! They are where they are and both have contributed to that. They are both thoroughly unlikeable.
I am voting for Sharry if they don’t get voted out tonight but I fear they might. Never in a million years did I think I would a vote for a couple that included Harry. 😬
