As I say, this is the countdown to the end, now we're in the last week of the series. I think it finishes on 4th Aug... Just over a week away.

No clear winner(s) at the moment really, quite a few unlikeable contestants, and lots of arguments and discord! I'm almost looking forward to this series ending to be honest! 😆

Very true. She’s also very sexist with her roles - that moment when she said to someone (I forget who) that their boy should talk to D. She’s been fixated on him being her ‘man’ and has been falling into place as his woman like it’s lesser, and is only now starting to realise he mightn’t be worthy of such self-abnegation. It’s depressingly hard for her to comprehend.

As we know, Meg has been bitchy to the other islanders, between comments, encouraging poor behaviour of others just to get at them, eye rolls and smirks. But no woman deserves to get spoken to the way Dejon speaks to her. He is so dismissive of her all the time. Throughout the series she has often just agreed with him and shot down her own feelings to keep him calm, or else watched him walk away from the conversation. He has never once given her the reassurance she needs. He thinks making them exclusive and BF/GF is giving her reassurance, it's not!!! He is a vile vile vile man. His behaviour has been absolutely rotten. And none of that is Meg's fault! I actually think he could be the worst man to ever go on Love Island.

Can you imagine the public outcry if M&D won? I still think Cach is going to win it for them not so much Toni as he is a lovely genuine guy tho I think it won’t last on the outside she lives in Vegas FFS! Yaz is like a Stepford wife with the way she walks and talks (if she says Same one more time I’ll scream!) Angel & Ty are sooo boring don’t know what to say to each other, the way H has acted will deter them from winning - Shakira and Cach would have been a good couple and would definitely win. The bar has definitely been low this series with good couples

Meg has changed considerably towards him since her mum and sis came in the villa and said they weren’t sure about him hence the constant want for reassurance from him.

D should be made to leave the show!

Agree. That was really uncomfortable viewing last night. He has such a sinister vibe which he is completely unable to contain any more. That whole scene just screamed abuser. Plus he's basically admitted he's only interested in the prize, for someone so aware of the cameras he seems to forget we can see him sometimes.
The way he reiterated that they won that challenge when they clearly didn't. Wish they would have another movie night and show the cheating to the rest of the villa.

Toni mentioned them cheating. I’m surprised it wasn’t brought up to them though.

His ‘just stop talking’ line is kinda outrageous. Like it’s up to him!

The most sinister bit for me was when Dejon clocked the cameras again ( not that he’s ever not wary of them ) and told Meg to stop talking and cuddle in silence … very revealing
With Shakira and Harry I think they have been now picked for the winners edit . For those who commented on his lack of eye contact when speaking to friends and Helena , I did notice Harry does have a lot of eye contact with Shakira even when not actually talking to her !

No way will Shakira and Harry win. He's been the most misogynistic gas lighting person on there. If people are voting for them, shame on them.

Meg and Dejon are okay

Huh? 😂 It’s the most toxic relationship in there ffs. He has been absolutely awful to her the last couple of episodes. They need to be dumped for Megs sake so she can at least be supported by her family (who can clearly see through Dejon).
I haven’t particularly warmed to Meg as I thought she was unnecessarily rude towards newbies and has a bit of a roughness to her (sorry!) and can’t have a laugh at herself, however, I think she would probably be far more nicer and easy going if she wasn’t coupled with Dejon tbh.
As others have said though, I don’t think she is particularly intelligent. The way she keeps saying ‘but we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now’ as if that absolves him of any responsibility for his awful actions and way he speaks her.
They need to be dumped for her own benefit now so she has time away to properly reflect and talk it through with people who care about her. Unfortunately in there, she’s made enemies of the only girls who would actually be brutally honest with her and genuinely care. Toni, Shakira and Yas are amazing support for each other and genuine friends looking out for one another. Meg could have done with having them on her side right now but she’s made herself too unlikeable for them to care enough. She has Angel who is probably a nice enough girl but too much of a wet wipe to be honest with her. Either that or she’s just as bad as Meg and sees no issue with Dejons behaviour. We shall see.

I'm pages behind, catching up with last night's episode but just have to say that I think Shakira's skin is gorgeous. At her age I was plagued with corn beef skin.

Don’t think Meg needs support, she gives it back, doesn’t allow him to gaslight her

Watching Megan and Dejon's scenes is painful.

Last time the Islanders voted (All Stars) the top two couples were safe and they could only choose between the bottom three. Is that likely to happen tonight and if so who will be safe ? Meg and Dejon ?

A lot of people that came out and spoke on the morning after podcast said Dejon isn't genuine! I hope they will be at risk. At this stage the producers should let ye vote for your least fave couples and choose a winner by process of elimination because I don't think anybody has a strong favourite.

A word Harry, said the producer, things are looking a bit iffy for you & Shakira - not ideal at this stage - so when you go shopping with the boys today, there’s a stall in the market that sells cute little hats with flapppy ears….

The scene last night for the date was excruciating and sinister. Let’s just have a cuddle in stony silence after that row and that’s the bit that will be shown WTF!

LI production are doing a great giving Harry and Shakira the winners edit. Viewers still so easily manipulated.
There's more chance of me winning the lottery than them lasting on the outside..
Inside its also totally contrived between them.

100%. And Harry has been guilty of far more gas lighting and misogyny than dijon. But apparently women have forgiven him and are shamlessly voting for him because he's in a couple with Shakira. Raise your bar higher ladies...

I would havd been curious maybe to see them had they been in a couple for at least 4 weeks or something.
It's been days. That's quite easy.
There is something very uncomfortable about Harry.
Shakira should have formed a friendship couple. I would have preferred that. I think the thing with Harry is very dodgy.
It was literally a week from the end.

Anyone else think Harry and Shakira won't last and he will be back on our screens in January in All Stars? 😂

I mean, LI can't keep bringing Casey back, especially since he won last year, so they need someone else to take his place. 🙄
