As I say, this is the countdown to the end, now we're in the last week of the series. I think it finishes on 4th Aug... Just over a week away.

No clear winner(s) at the moment really, quite a few unlikeable contestants, and lots of arguments and discord! I'm almost looking forward to this series ending to be honest! 😆

It’s like it’s rigged!! How are they still there?! Apparently they have a lot of supporters on Facebook. It’s just such a dysfunctional and toxic relationship so I don’t understand it.
I think the logic is that people were upset that Megan and Blu had been given a second chance, and they seemed to try and coach their friends in the villa according to public opinion. We don’t like that so have voted them out at the first opportunity.

First Look looks interesting - what are they all back for?

All of the remaining couples are looking a bit shaky.

Most genuine is probably Shakira - she’s gone with her heart all along but not sure about Harry. I reckon he’ll have a fling with Helena when he gets out (if she’ll have him back).

Jamie’s a nice guy but Yas isn’t feeling it (or anything really).

I don’t think Cach and Toni will last either. He’s a great guy and I like her but they’re not that compatible.

Ty is also lovely but there’s no real spark with Angel. He’s more into her than the other way round.

I think Meg is genuinely hurt by Dejon but she’ll never end it. They’re not compatible at all.

Yep i always saw comments on facebook supporting Meg and Helena but it felt more like the support for them stemmed from peoples hatred towards Shakira, Toni and Yas rather than genuinely liking Meg and Helena. Any post that highlighted the negative side of Meg was inundated with comments about how bitchy and mean the three witches were and they should be ashamed of their behaviour and that they were the real fake bitches. So yeah, there is still a lot of support out there for Meg and Dejon unfortunately 😒

Every girl Harry has upset will vote against him.
Blu and many of the girls will vote to get Toni and Shakira out

Yeh I do think the producers would rather the viewers have no say at all.

If they revealed the voting percentages like some other shows do. We could see if it was close between each votes or a complete landslide.

I suspect they'll all be briefed/ encouraged to vote a certain way and I think they'll vote out either Yasmin/ Jamie or Ty/Angel!

Anyone who votes Ty and Angel are just using that as a cop out coz they don't have the balls to vote out who they really think.

Just catching up. Meg piling in on Dejon on their date was tiresome but it’s because he wouldn’t let her speak the previous night. She then stewed on the situation for 24 hours, rehearsing what she wanted to say in her own head. It then all came tumbling out like a pile of nonsense.

Tiresome, awkward, draining the pair of them.

I think they'll vote out Meg/Dejon. They've had a shockingly bad edit this week, this is what it's been leading up to. Briefing the past contestants to get it done is the only way to get them out the villa while hearing some hard truths at the same time.

What an episode tonight - their relationship is a toxic shambles. More paranoid mentions of the cameras, Dejon telling Meg to shush and sit in silence so their argument can't be caught on camera, both sitting there with their faces like slapped arses. Meg's not even allowed to be playful with the other girls without Dejon moaning the face off her about making him look stupid. I wonder if she's been deliberately isolated by him throughout the whole experience? Without him around, she looked much lighter and up for a non-sneering laugh, it was transformational. I know she's been a bit of a moody insecure twit, but no wonder, honestly, coupled up with him for 7 weeks - I feel really sorry for her. She doesn't seem overly bright.

Also - I hate it, but this episode, and the Knowing Me Knowing You quiz, Shakira and Harry were cute. Their dumb hats and turtle necklace and the tenner bet... Grrr. I think they might actually win.

I don't believe that people went out their way to vote for Ty and Angel. Gotta be rigged.

Ps everyone dont fall for Harry and Shakira. They are massive game players that want to win, just as much as M and D .

Harry is or at least he's trying to redeem himself but I don't believe Shakira is playing a game at all. She's been very genuine in this show, often to her own detriment.

If she was playing to win, she'd go along with his flirting about mentioning babies and all that. If anything, she is actively ignoring his comments which I think is some sort of self preservation. She's aware that her mother disapproves too and that must be in her mind too.

Her comment about feeling relieved when Helena left so she wouldn't feel so self conscious, showed she feels she can finally enjoy being with him, at least while they are in the villa.

I’m not really understanding the ex-islanders getting to vote the next pair off, must’ve missed a preview, but surely if they vote off M&D, then D will always be able to claim they could’ve won if it had been a fair public vote. Doesn’t seem likely they’d go anyway as more of their mates have gone than stayed, and the bitter ones who got dumped would vote against the popular folk surely. All very rigged, not into that.

It does feel a bit like when Harrison left and the toxicity went so Toni could relax and get back to herself somewhat. Harry’s out of the sweetshop scenario (for now at least) and can be happy for a little while with Shakira. Not saying it’ll last, nor that there’s no game aspect, but i do think he genuinely likes her and it’s good to see her happy in there for the final stretch. The toxicity is elsewhere.

Angel and Ty to win. They’re the only genuine couple in there. Jamie and Yas are one dimensional - their chats are very boring. We all know Toni is with Cach as he was the only option - if Harrison re entered and asked her to be with him, she’d be off. There’s something about Shakira and Harry that isn’t quite right - an awkwardness, and Harry is biding his time until they’re out of there. Meg and Dijon are okay, but still not quite sure how that will pan out on the outside. I think Angel and Ty are solid and genuine - they might not have all the drama that follows the other couples round, but there’s also no fight for airtime like there is with the others. Not sure if Megan has forgiven Connor for his behaviour in the villa after she left, so I think with them two there might be unfinished business when they get out - Meghan might let it all out once theyre away from the cameras.

I think D has just grown tired of Meg. She can sense that he’s detaching and it’s making her anxious. She’s searching for reassurance that he cannot/doesn’t want to give her, so she’s spiralling.

She spirals whenever she perceives a threat and D is pretty shit at reassuring her but tbf it’s draining for him.

but Angel got with Ty as he was the only option and their conversation is the epitome of boring and one dimensional. There’s no fight for airtime because they don’t do or say much worth watching. He’s a nice lad but he’s been fine to go along with every girl who’s come his way and the only thing different about Angel is she’s had no one else to move onto. Course you free to root for them above the others but it’s hard to see how they qualify as genuine above anyone else or worthy ot a vote. Then again I’d say Megan and Conor were the most genuine couple and that didn’t keep them in - not that I voted for them myself, because it really comes down to who we like and have enjoyed watching. It’s hard, hand on heart, to have enjoyed watching Ty and Angel the most.

Dejon has completely gone off Meg now that he has been told that she isn't popular in the outside world. His game plan has fallen apart. He has so obviously been playing a game
