Apparently they've pulled the early release on iPlayer (but not a on Sky ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ) because it's too similar to the attacks in London this week, but it's still on tonight as usual.

Really? I didnโ€™t see any anti-Semitic hate/crime in Casualty last night.

I think it was just the fact someone got stabbed.

theflat · 03/05/2026 11:39

I think they pulled the early release to give them time to work out whether to screen it or not last night.

Why, what should they have been doing?

The latest guidelines for under 1 year advise encircling the chest with both hands, and using two thumbs for compressions, not one hand and 2 fingers.

I wonder when it was filmed though as the guidance changed at the end of last year.

Or the attack at the ambulance station. Even though the storyline was about a personal story, I can see that some people would use recent events to criticise the BBC for showing it.

Does that include really premature babies too though?

I thought it was just for term babies?

I imagine that kind of pressure around the chest of a 26 week preemie would be crushing ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

If you're giving chest compressions to a baby (or anyone), yes, it's going to be crushing. I can imagine using thumbs gives more control, hopefully I never have to find out!

I think it should only be on iplayer after itโ€™s been on live. Like in the good old days ๐Ÿคฃ

Oh if only all programmes would do this !

Should HART not be involved in the incident?

spiderlight · 09/05/2026 23:19

HART only exist with Iain needs them for a storyline, I think! ๐Ÿ˜† Also why were the Army all strolling about without so much as a face mask between them? Surely if something is hazardous enough for the Army to come steaming in like that, they'd arrive with some sort of protective kit!

Matty is a blooming idiot if he takes the rap for Stevie when everyone could see she was out of it. I suspect Dylan isn't going to report it though.

Donโ€™t think this DATIX will get far with the names in the wrong sections ๐Ÿ˜‚

Can I just say how deeply irritating I find Faith

Especially the annoying whispery voice. Speak the fuck up!

I was hoping one of the recent funerals was hers.
