don't think Indie knows, Rida and Jodie know but I don't think Indie had much to do with Cam back then (was she even in it at that time?) so don't think she knows.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/03/2026 14:06

Thatโ€™s it Rida and Jodie.

howdo can think he was going to get a gf /relationship if canโ€™t be honest with her

tho she still annoys me. Her hair. Her nose ring

not sure why

The character irrationally annoys me because she looks and acts like an actual child, like an 11 year old, and I just cannot separate that from the fact sheโ€™s supposed to be an adult who carries out a responsible and professional job ๐Ÿคฃ

My brain canโ€™t cope with it ๐Ÿคฃ

Oof this leg injury on the bus is bad

LIZS · 21/03/2026 21:26

Poor Cam Sad

hoarahloux · 21/03/2026 22:20

I could have really done without the lazy ill-informed weight loss injections story. I know it's a fictional drug but clearly intended to take the place of Wegovy or Mounjaro. Taking them because you don't meet the extremely strict NHS guidelines for a ยฃ9 prescription = bad. Ordering from an online prescriber = bad. And this fictional drug, unlike the real drugs, requires you to taper off your dose as you lose weight... or you could experience nebulous "side effects".

And Kim is using this fictional drug now. We'll get an episode explaining how she got hold of it from a nefarious online pharmacy.

purpleme12 · 21/03/2026 22:21

Oh god now what's Siobhan going to do ๐Ÿ™ˆ

DramaLlamacchiato · 21/03/2026 22:35

Really wish Kim would fuck off, sheโ€™s so irritating, her permanent anguished face. Fucking nasty piece of work too, blackmailing the therapist last week and Matty today.

Poor Cam. Even though the ambulance service clearly just assumed he was a drunk from the 999 call from the batty old
woman would they not have erred on the side of caution in case of head injury instead of taking 3 hrs to get there?!

God knows what Siobhan is up to now

DramaLlamacchiato · 21/03/2026 22:36

And yes I agree on the WLI story. Handed over in a brown paper bag too, ffs

Internaut · 21/03/2026 23:17

What gets me about the Kim SL is - after years of bloody hard work to achieve her ambitions, and having medical ethics drummed into her, she is willing to put patients at massive risk rather than admit that she can't see what she is doing. With the woman who was paralysed, surely it wouldn't have been the end of the world just to say she wasn't feeling well rather than to make up what she was reading? She must have known what the consequences would be if she got it wrong..

purpleme12 · 21/03/2026 23:19

And she's still putting patients at risk

hoarahloux · 22/03/2026 00:14

I wonder if they're trying to bring to mind Ruth from the 2010s. An incredibly troubled young doctor, working despite her dangerous personal issues.

Ruth made fatal mistakes repeatedly as an F2 and managed to cover them up. Ruth and Toby are very Kim and Matthew. That part of Ruth's arc ended in her attempting to end her life - she lived and grew into a good doctor.

purpleme12 · 22/03/2026 00:19

Mmm while there might be the similarities stated, I don't think Kim's anything like Ruth

purpleme12 · 22/03/2026 00:21

And I don't think they're trying to bring her to mind in Kim either

LondonLady1980 · 22/03/2026 08:32

I have faith that Matty will do the right thing.

I think he will go to Flynn and admit it was him who called the CQC and then he will tell him about Kim.

I think this must be what will happen eventually

Does anyone else feel like some of the storylines are being poorly portrayed?

I donโ€™t really understand why they chose this particular storyline to explore racial profiling. From what it shows, the police officer pursues the jogger because of how heโ€™s dressed, rather than because heโ€™s Black. Then Jacob gets annoyed because she still doesnโ€™t let his son off, even after realising heโ€™s the son of her boyfriendโ€™s colleague. If the intention was to highlight racial profiling, it would have been clearer if weโ€™d actually seen her target him because of his race, rather than focusing on the colour of his tracksuit. As it stands, it comes across more as though Jacob is simply claiming it was racially motivated, rather than the audience clearly seeing that for themselves. Unless Iโ€™ve misunderstood it?

The WLI storyline feels a bit odd too. The man was over seven stone overweight, so he likely would have qualified through the proper channels anyway. If they wanted to explore people obtaining WLI when they donโ€™t qualify, it might have made more sense to show someone like Kim exaggerating or lying about her weight to get it.

LondonLady1980 · 22/03/2026 09:04

I found it odd that in one scene sheโ€™s was telling Matty that her food issues were never about her weight and her behaviours are all about control, and then in the next scene sheโ€™s using those weight loss jabs?!

Yes, unless she was lying to Matty.

itโ€™s all very odd with Kim, sheโ€™s not garnering much sympathy.

To help her with the control?

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 22/03/2026 13:31

Kim is just becoming a less and less sympathetic character by the second.

Itโ€™s all very social media / daily mail point of view. I know itโ€™s just a drama but they always prided themselves on being properly researched.
