When did Teddy get with the police lady

In last weekโ€™s episode. They met whilst saving the children from the school when the roof collapsed.

purpleme12 · 25/01/2026 21:58

He said that the test said there was 99.9 per cent likelihood that he's his dad

So yes he's his dad

Ah. I saw the text saying results ready

I really must pay attention more

She mentioned she's going to go for a dating scan to see how far along she is

And also that she's not told Ian about it

LIZS · 26/01/2026 08:05

The timeline is annoying me. The F2s started in August, only a few weeks at most had passed with school roof collapse, Faith being pg and the CQC report by Matty but it was already dark when they came off shift at about 6pm.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/01/2026 11:50

It was the Hottest day of the year the other week

I hope we're not heading into self destructing Dylan.

Did anyone watch tonightโ€™s episode? Extraordinarily powerful performance from Melanie Hill, I thought.

I thought it was very well done and quite hard to watch especially when she was having the swabs taken.

I agree, it was really moving but in such an understated way.

I bet her attacker ends up in A&E at some point.

Oldglasses · 31/01/2026 23:13

Tonightโ€™s was really moving w Siobhan. Iโ€™m glad she told Flynn though. I was clenching at the swab scene as well.

longtompot · 31/01/2026 23:20

It was an incredibly difficult watch this evening, and Melanie Hill played it so well. I was a bit annoyed with Flynn. He knows she is a dedicated member of the team and there would be a very good reason as to why she wasn't there or being her usual self.

It was also sad with Dr Cheung.

spiderlight · 31/01/2026 23:51

She was outstanding tonight - really moving. I could have throttled Flynn but I'm glad she told him in the end.

Harsh words for Dylan when Matthew described him as a sperm donor. He looked briefly relieved as well as shocked though, though, I thought - is he going to keep his mouth shut now and treat it as a get-out-of-jail-free card?

Thisisme1234x · 01/02/2026 00:44

You could tell by Dylanโ€™s reaction that what Matty said really hurt and I do feel sorry on Matty as well because his opinion on his dad was made up for him.
A complicated situation all round.

daffodilandtulip · 01/02/2026 08:19

That was so excellently done. For once it was an accurate portrayal of services, which hopefully could help someone in the future. I'm surprised there wasn't more concern when she didn't turn up for work though - no one had heard from her and it was so out of character that surely one of them would have just wandered off shift to find her.

It's odd to think that's how Dylan was seen back then, when we see his positive characteristics. But maybe the mum wasn't being horrible, that may well be how he behaved (or how his ND behaviour was interpreted anyway).

lovealongbath · 01/02/2026 08:59

Very powerful episode!

Optimist1 · 01/02/2026 17:19

When Faith and Ian were at the scan and she could tell that the pregnancy was further along than originally thought, was her reaction a) Iain's not the father or b) it's too late for a termination? I can't remember whether she had sex with anyone else in the time frame.

I wondered that too! Was it supposed to be her 12 week scan?

purpleme12 · 01/02/2026 17:29

B that she felt different about a termination now

macaroonmayhem · 01/02/2026 17:30

How many other people of my age (fifties) were thrown back to their childhood when Derek Griffiths was wheeled in as the second casualty from the crashed car man (Sinbad! ๐Ÿ˜‚)? Or was it just me??

It was just supposed to be a scan to see if it was early enough to terminate. I'm not sure why Iain went, I mean "would you like to come with me to see your baby that I'm not keeping?" Is a bit of a weird ask isn't it?

DH and I both said "oh it's Sinbad!" And DS2 said "what Sinbad the sailor?"

Me too! I thought Siobhan had done a scan on Faith previously, but that was weeks ago in the timeline.

Me too! I was surprised no one had commented but equally, there was so much else going on it was pretty minor. The scenes with Siobhan at the start were very well done I thought.

I spotted Derek Griffiths but not Sinbad!
