I wonder if it’s got something to do with the fact she carries that mini suitcase around with her?

Maybe she’s homeless and she has to queue up for a bed somewhere, in a shelter for example?? And you have to be there for 8.30 to have any chance of getting a space?

I think she’s going to be homeless or caring responsibility.

The Faith storyline was obvious!

Agree about the Faith storyline! She’ll be on the brink of terminating which will cause a huge upset between her and Stevie (seeing as Stevie now cant have children) and it will ultimately result in Faith acting as a surrogate, handing the baby over to Stevie who will then run off into the sunset with Iain as they’re secretly madly in love with each other. That’s my guess anyway.

Who wants to make some crazy guesses as to how the whole Dylan and Matty story will play out? 🤣🤣

Dylan won’t be his dad, he’ll be gutted and he’ll run off with Iain, Stevie and the baby.

Would it actually happen that someone who just jump to the conclusion in this situation that there's a good chance he might be the dad of this person?

Just by the fact that he had sex with this woman possibly around the same time?

Possibly she seems too young and studious to have children though. That's a long time for her to have already been leaving them alone. Maybe a childminder needs releaving

She has mentioned her parents (or mother at least) so likely that route. Would account for the difficulty make decisions herself and response to Steve's "tough love".

My guess is that he knew she was pregnant when they were at Uni together. Maybe he took off? Maybe she wanted to keep it and he wasn’t ready so he just left? I hope not as that would make Dylan a jerk and I couldn’t cope with that.

Or maybe she told him that she’d had an abortion and then he’d moved away for his first job or something and believed it to be true, but she had lied?

I do agree that it’s a bit of a leap though.

Mmm I really think they're pushing the fact that he had no idea at all and is now jumping to this conclusion from the fact that this must be her son.

I did think it was an odd conclusion based on the bare facts that we know but didn't know if it was an odd conclusion or not!

I don’t know, I just got the sense she was very scared and panicked about not leaving on time, as though she was going to face severe consequences for it.

Whereas if she was just relieving a childminder or a career she would likely have just phoned them without any drama and told them she was going to be 10 minutes late and apologise.

I guess time will tell…..

I fear we may be going down the abusive tiger mom cliche with Dr Cheng, possibly with additional elder caring responsibilities for good measure. I’d actually be delighted to learn she has broken the mould and has a baby or young child, but can’t see the scriptwriters doing that one.

They mentioned how unusual (it is incredibly uncommon) the last name was, and he’s only ever heard it when he was at uni with a Sarah. Then comes along another Linlaker with a mum named Sarah. Stevie planted the ‘what if’ in his head and obviously Dylan being Dylan he needs answers like yesterday.
