And the picnic today, right outside their house! You'd thought they'd at least go to the allotments. Surely they have a back garden they could have sat in? Instead they chose a postage stamp sized grassed area

@Giantjoelguesser when Eve said to Ravi “the cupboards are bare” I wanted to tell him to take in some ironing, get a lodger or do some dog walking, and in true MN fashion - can’t you just move??! 😂

It's all ridiculous. The cupboards wouldn't be bare for long, they have several businesses. They own loads of houses/flats, they could just sell one! What about all the ones up north? Where Suki took Eve when they first started dating

Not to mention the Slater house! Where actually soon only Jean and Mo will be left.

These storylines are getting ridiculous. Why did Ravi need to hide no.1 the drugs in the car and no.2 the car in the arches. And why did his friend need to be in the car with the drugs so he could drive it round the corner.

I've never been around drugs in my life but I'm pretty sure I would have a better way of dealing with a big bag of the stuff.

It made me laugh seeing Kojo with the carrier bag, he just casually strolled around the square with it. Ravi needs to take some tips from Kojo

I'm thinking there's something not quite legitimate about the car (not just the drugs in the boot). That's why Ravi was trying to hide it from the cops? Although Kojo did say he checked out the tax and MOT and it was fine. So not sure what else it could be 🤔

I agree with pp that it's all just not making sense at the moment and getting increasingly irritating to watch. I want to get involved with the characters, feel their drama, enjoy their shenanigans, etc without having to think WTF all the time. I need at least some semblance of realism and just a few storylines that make sense in the real world. I mean, I can swallow the way that all EastEnders go to the cafe for a cup of tea, or the Vic for a glass of wine, but then Ravi is short of money for his dd's birthday so offers to do a dodgy deal with his arch enemy Nic, then gets stuck with drugs in the back of his car, then Kojo of all people takes it into his head to destroy the drugs?? It's just complete rubbish. I'd rather watch Ravi and Priya try and cobble together a party on the cheap that Avani might actually enjoy and appreciate as that might genuinely be fun. Rant over.

It is rubbish and the amount of coincidences is ridiculous.
Ravi had money for a flash car, but Avani wants a big do and suddenly he can’t afford it and not paying wages either ! They were also class A drugs , not a few packets of weed which might have made a bit more sense ( or just get rid of the car ?)
Also Elaine helping out Cindy , as if.
Kojo getting a flat without the correct visa conditions and so on. People taking off with one bag to live abroad on a whim .. list goes on eh !

I guess that they are making a point that teens expect to have a big fuss made over their birthdays and Avani is high maintenance, but most parents would say no!
They have been ripped off 25 k by Bernie only last week too. Zack is within his rights not to work until he is paid too , but not sure what anyone would do in that case.

Yes, the cafe has toilets , Nic should have gone in there to scrub off the oil ( or gone home )

I agree with you all, it is such rubbish at the moment. There isn't a single storyline that makes any sense. And I don't care about any of them. Drugs storylines are never interesting, Ravi deserves better.

And yes, Zack punching Peter was definitely the best bit!

The drugs etc is causing me to zone out, but I like Harry a bit more now oddly enough. Ravi looked hot with a cigarette on. I’ve never smoked myself , but it looks better than vaping!!
Where will H get 50 k from ? maybe he should try Phil’s safe !

I did like the drug dealer calling people ‘ customers’
Not sure why I found it funny , but I just did.
Maybe H will turn into Walter white and have to cook up his own drugs to get out of this mess.

I do like Avani , that killer smile and her pure cheekiness ! she is a character and a bit of a chancer too.

I think I'm missing something. What was the point of trashing the Arches if Harry wasn't going to inform the police, have to deal with Phil, and still be due Ravi the drugs?

No we definitely haven't. Plus it seems Lauren knows about it too! Not to mention Peter sleeping with Suki's daughter Ash who it sounds like is now a lesbian like her mother - only on EE 🤷‍♀️
