Caught me by surprise the end of the thread!

I am not against all US players by any means- I never liked Sampras (and his flobby tongue), ,and Jim was boring, but I loved Andre Agassi.
I like Ben Shelton, and Seb Korda, Taylor Fritz, Big Foe.

But I never liked Isner. TP reminds me of Isner.

I loved Mac and I still do despite his faults
loved Agassi as well
but Sampras was worse than TP by miles

Plus (and I know I mention this a lot)

I still don't get how TP was voted the best looking player .

I saw Sampras 'live' a few times- he really was dull.

There are big servers that have more to their game, and then there is Pete Sampras. Never liked watching him.

I liked Mac too. His commentating...is hit and miss

It is baffling in a world where we have Matteo Berretini.

Well done Carlos, that is the sort of work we can all get behind, even if the crowd is grumpy about their early night. Tommy can go home to his truck and his scary praying mantis girlfriend.

I decided to fork out for the proper TNT coverage via Discovery+ and I’m disappointed that for £30 I’m expected to suffer ads at every changeover and they don’t even show the set stats. And annoying American commentators who just bang on and on about the American player and barely mention the guy who’s busy handing him his ass on a platter. Sorry, rant over.
