I think i started watching it when faith was dying as there was a flashback episode about then. And I remember Cain finding her but Chas was away on her dirty weekend with Al. I just wasn't too sure of the connections. And I remember caleb coming in as well etc.

Zak had 2 other sons, Nathan who's only been mentioned, never seen, and Ben who died in a fight with David Glover.

Ben was killed in a fight with Luke McAllister. Then Tina (not the new Tina who had a head and personality transplant) had a relationship with Luke and basically fleece him and ditched him at the altar.
And there was also Butch dingle who was killed in the bus accident.

Jack Sugden is supposedly John's father and his mother was a woman we'd never heard of before.
A bit like Nate appearing and being Cain's son to a barmaid who was never mentioned, let alone made an appearance.

I watched Friday's ep last night. I'll keep watching as long as Robert's got scenes. However I noticed that Aaron when agitated (and let's face it that's most of the time) he licks his lips. It annoys me. It shouldn't but it does.

Aaron sort of bares his top teeth with his lip tucked under like a cliche gangster when he's endeavouring to convey agitatation or barely-controlled anger. It's hilarious.

Joe of all people came to her rescue by getting a contact in Spain to present at a police station with a passport saying he was Anthony. He had the whole thing sorted in five minutes. Joe is now an official member of the Murder Club and his kidney tax is paid.

The whole Joe coming to Ruby's rescue was ridiculously far fateches - as if that could all be arranged in an afternoon.

I think Aaron is terrible. Either sniffing, crying or baring his teeth as @TellingBone said.
