Poor Craig met his maker after Mick hurt him bad
He was a bit boring, but I can't help but feel sad
Mick's wife Lou left him, can't blame her quite frankly
He's abusive and repugnant inside and out, and quite manky

Mick wants to see Kit as he knows he slept with Lou
He's got Bernie now, but what is he going to to do?
Mick's nasty little son is out of the STC
Will he be as bad as Mick, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Debbie's quite ill, she's dumped Ronnie and he's very sad
Kevin's still battling cancer, and he's getting quite bad
Glenda's the new landady of the pub now, and Jenny and Daisy are gone
And Julie has died very suddenly, I hoped she'd go on and on.

(I'm sure there's some more things going on right now, but I've only just woken up after a rough night's sleep.) 😆

And the way he cried and had Todd all concerned for him. The actor playing Todd is doing great. He’s gone from jokey, confident Todd to wide eyed and worried. Heck he even managed to act that he was enjoying the karaoke scenes!

No I doubt she is.

They all end up working in either the knicker factory, the pub, the cafe, the bistro, speed Dahl,even the garage (Abbie all of a sudden a mechanic ).No matter what job they come into Corrie with.No worry about being made redundant or sacked from original one.Plenty of jobs on the Street.
I have forgotten Dev's shop and the newsagents!

Loved tonight’s episode had some funny one liners and seemed more like Corrie of old with everyone coming together even dragged Rita out!

Poor old Rita. They seem to dress her up every few weeks and give her a couple of lines to say. A bit pointless and rather sad. 🙁

Rita still scrubs up well though, I quite like seeing her about.

Abi went to a Therapist so is ok now. Debbie should go to the Therapist, or the people who sorted Nicks brain injury or David's epilepsy. They work miracles.
George and Todd have a lovely relationship, he's a nicer parent than Eileen.

That last scene in Kevin's house where Carl leaves and Abi gives a lingering look.

That drag night in the pub was lively and fun and had people smiling and dancing for a change - even Carla looked relatively cheerful. I was disappointed though as I thought there would have been more drag queens on 'stage' and I'm not a big 🪭 of drag.

It's so we don't forget they're brothers. 😆 TV characters do it with cousins too. 'OK cuz!' Very annoying. I have never done this in (my) real life!

Also, I see tedious Theo's daughter has pushed her way into Todd's home now. Also, I still don't believe she's pregnant. And why on earth is Todd allowing her to stay?

Drag night with songs that most people born after 1960 won't even know! 🙄

I wonder what the target age group is for Corrie now. Most people in their 50s or older (who have been fans since the 1980s or earlier,) are getting pissed off with it/leaving it in droves, and no-one I know in their 40s or younger watches it.

I wish it would return to its old more humourous roots.

I wonder who the writers think the target audience is. My nieces and nephews. all under 40, never watch and never have.
Im now in my mid 60s and half watch while doing something else. I have no one to empathise with, the storylines are unrealistic while beating us over the head with moral lesson after moral lesson.

There are plenty of young characters but not sure they would appeal to younger viewers, all the kids ever do is get into trouble. I think younger viewers would rather see people their age having fun

Amy is at university but the only thing we see of her student life is her dreadful radio show that puts out sermons about issues.

Couldn't they just show her and Summer in the Student Union having a bit of a laugh?

The one time she did go to a party she saw her rapist and was traumatized.
