Oh my god, downstairs is awful. I mean even worse than I thought it was.

Completely agree. This grandma’s living room thing is at least 10 years old. I remember a coffee shop in my town that looked exactly like this.

I work in interiors and get very stressed watching this most of it is just too try hard for me.

Craig so far is a goner

These venues have to appeal to Edinburgh people outside of fringe time and we get enough tartan - I wouldn't even have minded if it had looked good but he managed to make to look cheap

Also Craig's venue would be a nightmare to keep clean

Rita’s is looking good - bright, but good.

Well now we’ve seen her house for sale she has no clue either it seems

I really can’t take to Craig’s design, I’m amazed that they like even the upstairs. They were politer than me about the downstairs.

I get fairground rather than circus from the wooden horse.

I like Rita’s - she uses “bits” but somehow much more coherently than Craig.

And Rita spared us clowns. Thank you, Rita!

John did a fantastic job. His best of the series by far.
