I think Jamie and Dave both went in wanting media careers out of this. I think it was a bonus for them that they really got on and it opened up the possibility of a relationship. I think her timing of saying she loved him after upsetting the group at the retreat was somewhat manipulative and she sabotaged the relationship up to a point. The 'trying' to get back on track is half hearted from both of them. Sad really because there might have been something before it all went a bit mad

The difference is Dave isn't into Jamie and he basically told her so. He's acting for the cameras. This acting extends to telling off the men all the time for their bad behaviour. I guarantee he wouldn't do this in real life.

Anyway, Jamie meeting her match is nowhere near the same as Paul. Same way nobody blamed Ryan for wanting to meet his.

I'm also really bored of Jeff and Rhi. Every scene with them is just them saying the same boring shit over and over again - I'm really happy with the way our relationship is going, I can't believe how we came into this friend zoned and now look at where we are! They say the same thing multiple times every single episode and there's nothing new to say, enough already.

Plus, the more time goes by the more I think Jaime isn't that into Dave. I do sense their carefully curated personas went when she was aggressive at the retreat. She stepped a boundary, he stepped back.
