Last thread I think, as there are only 4 or 5 episodes left.

My bastard DD has just emailed me a link to an illegal streaming site so I am now having to keep myself busy and think of the computer viruses so as not to keep watching. Can't wait to see how the final commitment ceremony goes though.

I thought Ryan handled tonight quite well. He's still a bit of a dick but he was factual, fair and not unkind to Waqui. I actually preferred this version of him - being legitimately pissed off and standing firm was so much more likable than watching him fawning, faking, apologising and pretending their relationship was amazing.

Just finished tonight's episode. Jacqui needs some serious therapy. I'm glad we didn't see much of Carina - her dress makes me itchy. When Dave heard that Jeff had given Rhi a key, he looked at Jamie in a panic, hoping she hadn't heard about it. Arse.

Only 1 whatnot. Disappointing.

Mon 28th - commitment ceremony
Tues 29th - morning after cc, prep for final vows
Wed 30th - never before seen task
Thurs 1st - final dinner party

Mon 5th - Final vows part 1
Tues 6th - Final vows part 2
Weds 7th - Reunion dinner party Part 1
Thurs 8th - Reunion Part 2

And that’s it for another year!

Those of you who watch ‘live’ on E4 at 7:30, beware next week as it looks like the new series Honesty Box will shuffle the timings and even split MAFS into two parts either side of it.

I’m going out on a limb here, though not a hill I’m gonna die on.

I thought Jacqui had a point about:

• How Ryan’s mates behaved towards her, while he sat back. Unacceptable regardless.

• The letter. That was the task: say what worries you about how the relationship might work. She didn’t ’do a Paul’.

What she was wrong about was the extensive list of things about his home. Rude, presumptuous and patronising. And the first time you visit FFS!

Also, his beard. Joking about shaving it off in the night! How would she feel if he joked about shaving her legs or cutting her hair while she slept?

Her grinchy giggling is unfortunate, especially at inappropriate moments.

When Ryan asked the group if anyone else’s partner tried to rearrange stuff in their homes he didn’t realise they had nothing in their homes to rearrange.

Can't believe it's almost over again!
I was actually really impressed with Ryan last night, although I still don't really like him, he finally found his voice, and was still trying to be kind to waqui, and I think he finally articulated himself really well in the face of her constant rewriting of history. I'd have given up and walked away from her long before it got to that point!
I honestly think the woman needs to see someone and maybe unpick why she behaves the way she does.

Self help books, I suspect.

Constantly trying to challenge and push herself and expects others to do likewise.

I'm pretty sure therapy would make zero difference to Jacqui. She's too far gone. Craziest person I've ever seen.

Actually looks like a clinical issue - so not therapy but medication..

@RipleyJones not sure if medical science has anything that would fix Jacqui yet but if they do, I'm up for trying it too!

Just caught up this morning. What on earth does Jacqui have on her face?? It looks like Shrek make up. Is she channelling Princess Fiona? She's actually green.

Ryan was great!

Glad to see he had the support of the group for once.

He expresses himself badly at times and has allowed himself be manipulated by Jacqui (eg he never said he wouldn't do childcare, he said he didn't want to be SAHP). Also I don't know why he keeps Freya outside but I don't think he's got a bad heart. If he leaves out the online nonsense and self help crap and embraces his hardworking, quirky sides, he will be much more eligible to someone whom he will actually get on with.

It was disturbing at the end there, was Jacqui offering him sex?!!

I think Carina is taking her fashion from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As soon as I saw the hood I said "Dorit"!
She talks very slowly, but that seems to be in contrast with Jamie.
I laughed out loud at Ryan's confused face when Jacqui was acting all flirty with him. She has certainly made me laugh at her crying without tears and then incredible switch to inane laughter! 😂

Long time lurker, but had to jump on to say Ryan is still a misogynist control freak (over women and dogs) and I sort of love he’s being g mind-fucked by Jacqui. She’s bonkers but I do know why she was maintaining that that wasn’t what she said (or at least meant) in the letter. And I think that letter was spot on.

Did she actually stay a night at Ryan’s dangerous-dork den? She’s a braver person than I if so!
