Send help!

Sorry @browneyes77 I didn't know if you would have time to make the new one, the current one is filling up mega fast. I thought I would better make one before it fills up and before I head out for the day.

I’m with you on Dave @SausalitoSue

He’s not obliged to be devoted to Jamie after six weeks, and she has not been particularly easy as a person: I couldn’t deal with that

Outofthepan · 21/04/2025 22:02

@3luckystars I assume it’s money, exposure, and so the ixperts look better?

I like your idea though 😃

Discoprincess6 · 21/04/2025 22:08

I love how nuts Jacqui is

Italiangreyhound · 21/04/2025 22:09

SausalitoSue how is Eliot a gaslighter? His relationship with Lauren didn't work and he left. He should have stayed and worked through it (IMHO) but he did not.

And V is awful.

Dillite2 · 21/04/2025 22:09

If people quit after 2 weeks, then there's no way that a 40 episode series can be made. So it is in everyone's interest for the contestants to be encouraged to stay for as long as possible.

"But then if one of them changes their mind while on the couch, as a result of whatever their partner has just said... would they have to stick with the answer they'd originally written? I guess maybe it's never come up..."

I think they do write before the 'session' and can't change it because a few people have said they don't know why they wrote stay when they later heard their partners comments.

QueSyrahSyrah · 21/04/2025 22:15

Just finished tonight’s episode. Not much to say apart from I can’t believe I’ll miss Eliot, and what on earth is Jacqui doing in the preview suggesting he shaves the beard. It’s the only thing differentiating his head from his neck Jacqui! He’ll look like even more like a thumb with eyes if he shaves it!

I mean it’s not that small, 26 million people in a country that is mostly empty. Hundreds of people apply.

But the major cities are very far from each other- all involve a flight! Not that big for a country that size.

TitsInAbsentia · 21/04/2025 22:25

Butts...lost all track of time thanks to the long weekend and forgot it was on tonight...well that's me sidelining mafs with work tomorrow morning 😂

EmeraldShamrock000 · 21/04/2025 22:29

Still can’t get over Sacha, aged 29, refusing to move 2 hours from her parents and expecting Ross to rather leave his child. No wonder they didn’t make it.
She didn't trust Ross, rightly imo, he was a hot head. If he hadn't thrown things around, things may have been different for her.

I think he's very perceptive. He got the measure of hideous Lauren after about 24 hours.

I have a question about the rules - are they allowed to change their minds about what they've written once they're on the couch? So if Jamie had written leave would she be allowed to change her answer to stay?

When Billy and Sierah left, Sierah said she wished she'd written stay. Mel then asked Billy what he thought and he said he was happy with what he'd written and that he wanted to leave. I got the impression that they would have let Sierah change her mind had Billy agreed to it.

I really thought the whole Veronica/Dave situation would have been discussed when John told Dave he had some explaining to do. Bit disappointed it wasn't.

Given they ignored the footsies under the table thing I'm not that surprised.

3luckystars · 21/04/2025 23:04

That’s true!

Empress13 · 21/04/2025 23:11

Ryan reminds me of Andrew Tate the way he talks and feels about women. I’ve said it before but there was more to Eliot’s story with Lauren things we didn’t see gotta say I did warm to him in the end. Glad he wrote leave the actress was toxic. After seeing the preview for tomorrow the one thing that I can’t understand is why the ixperts put people with children with those who don’t want them it’s madness! Surely there must be some kind of safe guarding issue in place where children are concerned. Awinha should run for the hills he’s only interested in one thing and it ain’t being a father figure

FergoMcFergFace · 21/04/2025 23:26

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope Eliot finds his pretty young librarian and they can stay at home reading books and playing Connect Four.

BinChicken1 · 22/04/2025 00:26

Boring episode. Dave is a coward. Play the footage of him and V in the bed. Put poor Jamie out of her misery.

nottheplan · 22/04/2025 07:51

I agree with pp. The CM are boring 🥱

EmeraldShamrock000 · 22/04/2025 08:25

I've no doubt that Ryan has a certificate from Andrew Tates, Hustlers university.

browneyes77 · 22/04/2025 08:37

I’m going to have to re-watch the episode.

I drank so much wine last night, I’ve forgotten what happened 😂😂

Veggielepsy · 22/04/2025 09:07

Jacqui was scary, grinning at breaking Ryan.

I think Elliot is very hard to live with in a couple unless it's exactly what he wants. That doesn't make him a bad person or horrible to everyone he meets or hangs out with but he is very black and white. Veronica was trying clumsily to demonstrate that difficulty and was frustrated. She's come off looking terrible but I don't think this is all her. She seemed to have nice friends. I think she picked her battles terribly (sister) and he was only too happy to come off looking good. I don't think Eliot made any attempt to understand Veronica's frustration, it was all about his own redemption.

Jamie isn't in the wrong here but is too quick to jump. Dave needs to make a decision if he hasn't got anything to give but similarly she needs to listen

Carina has converted from Catholic nun to Buddhist monk in that outfit. I'm a bit conflicted about that dressing down. I agree with Alessandra but thought an acknowledgement for balance of what Carina said would have been appropriate, even if it should have stayed private.

Beth knows Teejay isn't feeling it. She's not daft. I'd like him to say 'youre a beautiful woman and a great friend, but I'm not sure it's romantic'. She can handle that. This 'erm, well it is but I'm holding out... Blah' is probably quite hurtful.

Rhi and Jeff are proper marriage material

Delatron · 22/04/2025 09:18

Agree Teejay is completely leading Beth on and she’s clocked it. But then he’ll give false reassurances on the couch..
