New guy Mick and his missus are loathsome
I hope they leave really soon

So they end up on the dark side of the moon

DeeDee has had Joels baby, but doesn't want her
And her brother's stepped up to be her dad
But I think she's wavering and getting a bit attached
If she gives her baby up she may be sad.

DeeDee's about to take action for the poor treatment she had
When she was in labour and about to give birth
I hope she gets justice and gets treated right
And gets compensated for what she is worth

Dorin is back, he's incredibly cute
And I have to say DeeDee's baby is too (edit by request)
I hope they don't turn into little shits
Like the children in Corrie tend to do!

Daisy and Jenny have proper fallen out
Over the pub and money and debts

I actually thought Friday's episode was much better. The flashbacks painted a clear picture of the relationship between Kit and Mick, where normally we'd be left to guess for weeks on end, with stupid little hints about unseen stuff. Bernie looked great as young Bernie. I'm guessing that's her everyday look but they frump her up and age her for the role normally.

I admire they way she can play a character who is a bit rough around the edges but without becoming a stereotype or a comedy character like her daughter.

I don't get why Kit is so scared of Mick either.

Its Micks word against Kit. And whilst it may have been Kits idea to do something to the shopkeeper, Mick absolutely aided and abetted, and it was one of them lighting the fireworks and the other stuffing them through, they're both as guilty as the other for the actual offence.

There is no actual evidence that Kit did anything, just Mick and Lou's say so, and Lou will say nothing as obviously she was shagging Kit whilst Mick was in prison.

Who is going to be believed, an ex offender with a history of violence and lies, or a CID officer?

Good grief, Kit's just emerged from a "who's the daddy" scenario with Daisy - now another one with Lou?

I don’t think Kit’s scared of Mick, he maybe has a conscience and feels bad about what he did - especially now he’s a copper.

And as for Tinks being seconded to CID again, are we expecting more serious crime for him to help solve? Green & Tinker - not exactly Starsky & Hutch or Regan & Carter or even Bodie & Doyle!

He's scared that he will reveal that he committed a crime and effectively lied to get into the police.
He literally said that Mick would try to ruin his life

Yeah. Gemma &Paul were born in August 1990. Kit born in 1993.

I thought they cast young Kit very well. However I look more like older Mick than his younger counterpart did. 🤣. I suppose you have to understand why he’s so bitter and twisted now. His life path was ruined for someone else’s actions.

Kit had different coloured eyes as a kid, note to producers, if you want us to take this tosh seriously, get these details right. Enders did it with the young Grant and Phil recently, they looked, sounded right, and even had the same mannerisms.
Kit has twigged that he is in fact a dad. So the unraveling of this will be interesting, yawn.
Bernie actress is a diamond. Love her character. Sarah looks like the Argos doll who throws peanuts in the sweet little dinosaur’s mouth. Sometimes these two are the best characters in a hour’s viewing. Yet, I still watch it. They should never have got rid of Mason, big mistake. This new Kit family won’t draw us in, because it’s hard to empathise with such unlikeable shallow characters.
