But how would you keep them 'on app' until the investment stage to make sure that happened (or even know that the investment took place)? The talks, due diligence etc. are naturally going to take place offline. You'd be relying on their honesty, and unless the offering included legal services, financial advice (which would involve a huge and expensive amount of regulation to set up and maintain) they'd probably take the view that they paid for the app, that was the service received, and not feel any moral obligation to pay commission.

I love aircon, I sleep so much better.
If only Dean had added an eco twist e.g solar powered (given you use them when the sun is out).

I've been only able to watch much later for the past few weeks so just reading comments & not commenting.
Just finished both TA & TAYF. Good result for Jordan I think, I seem to remember that happening once before - but can't remember who or when 🤔

On TAYF they showed that Michael Soutar registered Jordan's company name in the UK - just to prove his (usual) point.

I think it’s really odd that they can get so far through the process before LS realises that some competitors have business ideas that just aren’t going to make money (bubble tea/investor ‘dating’ type app for example). So he’ll have lost some really good candidates who ptobably had better business ideas.

Althougb I suppose at the end of the day he probably doesn’t care that much, it’s not like any of their success is going to make much difference to his wealth any time soon.

Has business idea on the apprentice that Alan hasn't invested in, been a success?

Ive liked Dean from the start. He’s humble, gets on with people, loves his family and his business is already a success, He just needs help to grow it to the next level. Anisa will makes a success of her business whatever. She’s a very smart and capable woman. I like them both a lot but want Dean to win.

I think they have an idea who they'd like in the final from fairly early actually, it's no coincidence Dean and Anisa were on opposite teams in the fashion task- each team had two candidates the show were happy to lose at that point. I was surprised it wasn't going to be Dean and Mia for the final but i think they don't want another food delivery business, for that reason I'm pretty sure Anisa will lose. But I'll tune in anyway.

I didn't like Dean at first but he's really grown on me as the series progressed. He wants to win but isn't a knob about it.

I liked his attitude whenever he wasn't chosen for PM in a task - just raised an eyebrow instead of whinging to the camera about what a mistake everyone had made.

There have been little things like holding the door for the other candidates going into the boardroom after the interviews that show him in a positive light.

Still think he was an idiot for not listening to the women on the team for the kids money app.

I noticed he waited for Jordan to go through the door first after the board room on the way out. That spoke volumes to me. He’s not an entitled idiot and he has a sense of humour.

What were the businesses Jordan had actually got paid by? I can't recall - neither registered with me as I don't think ive heard of either.

Also, so you think Suralan, Karren and Tim made less of the fact Jordan had blantenly lied on his website by making out he'd got these big companies on his books, they would with another person?

Dean then. Not ideal, environment, etc but potential for growth. Dean for the dosh.

With Dean's business, if he were to win, he'd only be a 25% shareholder, with Suralan being the majority shareholder at 50% and Dean's business partner, Alex owning the remaining 25%. Alex is a complete unknown quantity as far as The Apprentice 'process' is concerned and they would be giving Suralan control of the business - is that really going to work out?

I didn’t like Anisa that much through the process but now I’m really rooting for her to win.

I don’t understand amazing candidates who go on with shit business plans. Everyone had Chisola down as a potential winner until this.

I like Dean.

also he wanted some mentoring from suralan. Isn’t that what the program used to be about when it first started.

Just looked at Anisa’s pizza menu and it’s now Final Five themed with pizzas named after all five candidates
