After declaring last year that I'd never watch again, here I am, wondering who else will be sat watching?

It'll be at TV pace of course, but feel free to post spoilers or rumours about who will be entering

I think its only on for 3 weeks, no idea what the point is really tbh

I appreciate it's probably just hit a nerve with me because it's a really common experience for a young queer lady to have some older bloke telling her he'd make her straight. Its a mix of belittling of your relationship, homophobic, sexually suggestive and a hint of rapey

My experience is exactly as this thread is when raising it, eye rolling about PC gone mad, people telling me it's a joke that ive misinterpreted and don't I know he once helped an old lady cross a road type thing

I was just surprised how immediately the conversation went to his merits and how kind he had been

Its not about shade on the people that replied, just was quickly back talking about him being sensitive and that he was kind at the start and that people would miss him because he was kind/interesting/famous

I don’t think anyone could possibly condone the ‘turning someone straight’ comment, nor have they. Also I don’t think anyone has actually said it’s just bants, in an effort to excuse it.

For my part, it was an observation that it is probably ‘smack talk’ and I doubt there’s ill-intent or hatred behind it. Ignorance, mostly. Being of another era and unlikely to change at this stage in his life. Etc.

I still don’t want him kicked out as I do find him interesting to watch.

And he’ll be punished plenty anyway as the internet will cancel him after tonight’s show airs, I’m sure.

He won't care as long as he gets his massive fee.

And then he can go back to being in his own little world with his dogs.
