Love the veterans having to muck in and earn their keep.

littlbrowndog · 28/03/2025 19:38

Out of your cattle truck and get working

PotterHead1985 · 28/03/2025 19:39

Theeyeballsinthesky · 28/03/2025 19:41

Amber is on it controlling the pass

EsmaCannonball · 28/03/2025 19:41

I am loving Abdullah. They should have had him as a guest judge.

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 28/03/2025 19:41

And has Jean had his request granted to have them strategically placed amongst the other diners to carve fish /main courses?

The veterans are seated together but they all had to get up and carve the fish for the diners.

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 28/03/2025 19:44

Gah. The react emojis are all wrong. That should have been a "thanks", not an "agree"!

littlbrowndog · 28/03/2025 19:44

He was a shop security guard who stopped a knifeman who had just stabbed a mother and daughter on the street.

littlbrowndog · 28/03/2025 19:45

He disarmed a knife attacker who was stabbing a woman and her young daughter.

So pleased for Amber. Sally is amazing too. Jean is excellent but there's something of the night about him.

I wondered how he might supply his restaurant with meat and thought I might not want to risk it, no matter how great a chef he is.

EsmaCannonball · 28/03/2025 19:47

Jean is making a few mistakes but it doesn't seem to be affecting the dishes.

littlbrowndog · 28/03/2025 19:48

Sally on top of her game here

EsmaCannonball · 28/03/2025 19:49

I remember Lisa Potts. Another heroine.

What did she do Esma

She was a nursery assistant who shielded the children from a man who attacked the class with a machete. (It was not long after Dunblane). She was quite badly injured.

littlbrowndog · 28/03/2025 19:51

Thanks Esma I just googled her. What a heroine
