Cassie's walking around with her tail between her legs, as Ken rumbled her nasty little game. Tracey saw through her but few others did, and Cassie's attempts to fool Tracey were lame. Hope still wants to be friends with her nan, but no-one wants Cassie around. She wants some love and friendship and support, but there's really very little to be found.

David wants someone to kill him so his family will be looked after. He wants someone to hit him with a car, these storylines are getting dafter! Kevin's got cancer it appears to be spreading, which is really quite worrying and sad. Rosie and Sophie haven't made an appearance yet, are they not worried about their dad?

Carla had her brother Rob's kidney, he's in jail for murder, under guard, but the guard is his girlfriend, and not be trusted, so escaping from the hospital wasn't hard. Abi's still struggling after seeing Mason killed, but trying to pull herself together. Her portrait of Kevin was a sight to behold, Debbie thought she'd be laughing forever.

Carla and Swain are still loved up, and Eileen's sister Julie's shown her face. She says she's got cancer, how awful if she has it too. Seems it's turning up all over the place. Leanne and Toyah's story has quietened down a bit, and the institution's in the past, Daisy's telling Daniel he's the baby daddy but he's not, I wonder how long the lie will last.

Jenny's about to be kicked off the deeds, at the Rovers against her wishes. Daniel's bailing her and Daisy out, and wants to make Daisy his missus. Max got a chunk of time in jail for setting fire to his house. And Dylan's incarcerated for possessing a knife, but is keeping as quiet as a mouse.

The Baileys have dwindled, and DeeDee where is she? Ronnie's still about, and easy on the eyes is he! I've probably missed something important I expect, and I'm sorry if I've missed something out. It's hard to remember everything and everyone, and make sure you don't miss nowt!

@HaddyAbrams But it was the terrified/angry way Theo behaved. Even if he was not out, it is very unlikely a 30 yo white British gay man nowadays would be that scared about his parents' reaction.

I agree Todd is way too good for Billy but I would be surprised if that is not where it will go. I think Todd is very attractive but he looks all wrong with Theo who is clearly a head wrecker.

Kevin does look terrible nowadays, it’s a shame. The actor has had well publicised addiction problems so I guess it has taken its toll.

I really don't like the Ken doll, and also agree he is married (to a woman.) And I agree that the scene(s) between him and Todd were weird and a bit cringe!

I want them to keep Julie too, and Debbie. Love them both. Eileen is as miserable as sin and I'll be glad when she's gone. I hate to say this, but she seems to have gone all miserable since she dropped loads of weight. I have known this happen to people before. Lose a ton of weight, and then are in a constant battle to not regain it, counting every calorie, and milligram of fat! And it makes them miserable.

Kevin does look grim, and 10 years older than his age, and it's weird to see a man who looks mid to late 60s with a child in his early teens/at school! Was he quite old when Jack was born, like late 40s or so?

I am glad DeeDee is going to take action against the hospital for the way they treated her.

Also annoyed at how they've made Jenny and Daisy enemies now. And I can't stand Daisy's mum!

Kev is 60 and Jack is 15. Unfortunately Kev looks a lot older than 60.

Jacks mum was Tyrone's wife wasn't she. So a bit younger than Kevin. They have a lot of complications in their blended families.

The actress who plays Eileen lost the weight through being very ill so the snide comment is uncalled for even, more than it would have been if she'd done it by exercise and dieting.

@bizzey It is actually fairly normal in the world of gay men, to have one night stands/casual sex/a sexual encounter with a man they have only just met/haven't known long...

I'm not saying ALL men do it, but it is fairly common for a (gay) man to meet another (gay) man on a night out and have sex with him.

I assume Theo has a wife but the scenes with the two of them were completely bizarre. Oddly written and they have no chemistry whatever. Why would Theo care if Eileen/Julie saw him in the house, they have met him already and Todd will tell them about the 'date' so what was the point of running away.

Not true. Sue Cleaver decided to give up wine, and start to eat healthier as she'd had enough of being 'big' and she wanted to be healthier. She was ill after she had lost some weight (with sepsis,) but she had been dieting for a good few months before that. I am speaking as I find, and find (some) people who are dieting/trying to stay slim, not as chirpy and happy as they used to be when they were bigger. I wasn't going to respond to this snippy comment, but wanted to put you straight.

You can try and put me straight all you like. However, I watched a televised interview and it was clear she lost more of the weight after she was ill and the giving up wine was not the whole reason.

Yes it is fairly common. I don't think lesbians are quite the same, but some of them are known for falling hard for another woman quite quickly, and the relationship often moves at warp speed! I have known same sex female couples who moved in together within 4-8 weeks of meeting!

Re Eileen, I'm not sure why the actress losing weight would have any effect on the character? It's hard to remember when she turned into such a miserable moo because Eileen was off screen so long with Sue's illness and then the theatre stint. She has bucked up a bit now Julie is here though.

But in Corrie nowadays most characters now seem to be contractually obliged to be a miserable moo. Even if they start off cheerful they get buckets of shite chucked at them till they sink.
