Why do I get the sense the judges will want Max as the wild card.... just the whole repeated "it's not a set up" followed by the judges really promoting him after his performance/him appearing on heart (where Amanda is a presenter) just doesn't feel right. I'd understand if his voice was absolutely incredible, but while I don't like his song, so that doesn't help, I found him "fine" rather than goosebumps/gripped.
I'd like Cheer re Man's to get the wildcard they were fab
I find old school magic boring (prefer Derren Brown type stuff) but agree Jannick put on a proper show, he had something going on the whole time
I wanted to like TK, as would like to see a magician in the final, but he babbled on for way too long, and found the focus was far too much on Davina on the phone/the judges. I found myself wanting him to just get on with it, same as the female magician in one of the other semi finals. Neither had the stage presence some of the previous magicians have had, where you're gripped by them talking and building up to the big reveal
I enjoyed the comedians audition, didn't laugh once tonight, found his material very repetitive just over and over the theme about being short of money in different guises and the elongating of long on more than one occasion drove me mad. Should have done more material about parenthood, his audition was funny because it was so relatable
Convinced judges decide on their GB before seeing everyone perform/basing it on their performance on the night. I did agree with Blackouts and the Drag Queen getting the others but not tonight's. Public being anti non UK acts doesn't help, Convinced it plays a part in the voting.
Also too many singers in the final, one has gone through from every semi final so far, making half the acts singers, and i say that as someone who liked Jasmine.
