no, its in the finale. the second series is dexter dealing with the fallout of the first.

I worked out that they were brothers a while ago, I accidently saw the 1st episode on teh 2nd series listing somewhere and it tell you what happened atthe end of the 1st IYSWIM.

I was skipping around the house because I'd worked it out!

i agree, i mention it to most people and they look at me blankly, then when i explain it they look really uncomfortable. i cant tell them just HOW good it is. in many ways its the perfect tv show.

but apparently its going to get even darker in series 3, in the third book dexters relationship with rita and especially her kids changes quite a lot.

I started watching this when i was preggy and stuck at home in my wheelchair. I found it on homechoice on demand thingy, i got about 2/3 way though and then went to sky. I missed how Rudy found Debs
Anyone got the dvd's to lend me? Or the books? Do we know why Dexters dad only took Dexter and not both of them?

the series is only based loosely on the books, the finale is on itv on weds though. where did you watch it up to?

Im watching it onitv now, so am up to the point where Dexter has worked out who it is and Debs is on boat, but missed 2-3 in the middle.
Im glad most of it is explained in the end, i hate it when you have to wait ages.
