I had been thinking it was Caleb that killed Nate, but now I'm not sure if that's what they want us to think by making it obvious in that scene with him going off to sort something out 🤷‍♀️

Yes re the Caleb controlling Ruby. It almost feels to me he's been so understanding of the cheating as it gives him the upperhand over her.

I'm fast losing sympathy for Ruby too as she's made no attempt at all to shoulder an ounce of blame and has let Caleb lay it solely at Cain's door 🙄

Cain also walked off to do something after his run in with Chas in the pub. So I guess they are trying to create a 'who is the hooded figure' scenario with more than one person acting suspiciously.

Nate was a big gormless lump but pretty inoffensive so I can't imagine why anyone would want to kill him unless as PPs have said it's a serial killer just killing for killing's sake.

I've never liked Caleb - too much of the big little I am about him. i hated Ruby at the start when she was so mouthy and abrasive to everybody but had warmed to her recently over the Anthony stuff. However she's starting to annoy me again with her constant wine drinking and not taking any of the blame over Cain.

Re Nates phone - if I decided to bump someone off, I'd keep their phone, just to cause doubt about when they were dispatched 🙂
If he has a DD set up for his phone, his bank account probably has enough in it to pay out for a couple of months.
Is there a reason we think John has muddered Nate? My memory is crap and I can't recall any issues.....

Agree with other posters @RaraRachael and @CellophaneFlower Ruby not taking any blame she went to the garage she’s letting Caleb lay it all on Cain …not saying a word it’s starting to irk me.

also her default is a wine glass or wine bottle to hand is so many scenes …I stared off not liking her then I liked her now am back to going off her 😬

Agree. I'd actually be less irked if she actually drank the wine but she just seems to make a big deal of pouring it and massaging the glass. Yesterday she topped her not empty glass up with about a thimbleful of wine and didn't take a sip 😂

I'm quite unnerved with how Caleb is suddenly treating her like a child. I actually hope he's up to something as it seems too bizarre he's being so understanding. I realise Ruby has been through a lot but Caleb seems far too selfish to just take it on the chin.

I thought the Anthony story was so well done but now the Fox-Miligans are really getting on my nerves.
They will have to tell Steph otherwise she will just keep going on and on.

I think we just presumed John was the killer as he's definitely been very weird since his sudden arrival. I don't see any chemistry between him and Aaron and his sister seems to be invisible these days.
There's the stuff with the Aiden Moore dogtag which he obviously didn't want anyone to see, then his skill at removing Anthony's body and clearing up the scene made he think he wasn't a stranger to this sort of thing.

Maybe those are red herrings and it was someone else but going by recent writing (apart from this week), I don't credit the scriptwriters with that much ability.

I really hope John doesn't turn out to be a cold bloodied killer... he had a terrible time on Corrie 😫

If it's true though that he is Aidan Moore and he hasn't done the switch for serial killer reasons, his storyline is remarkably like his corrie one. Pretended to be someone else then made connections and liked his new found family 🤔

Maybe John has PTSD from the army and the fire triggered him into thinking he was in a combat situation and Nate was the enemy? Then he realised what he had done and hid his body in the lake? He looked very panicky when Tracey saw him afterwards beside his van.

It went very slow last night then a message popped up to say I had to verify something. I didn't, the message disappeared and everything went back to normal.

I need to rewatch when Nate left... seems like a lifetime ago! Thought it weird at the time as Tracey and Nate were apparently mad about each other, but when she found out the Moira thing was rubbish she made no effort to sort it out 🤷‍♀️

When John and Aaron went back to the factory and found Anthony dead and were discussing getting rid of the body didn’t John make a comment like “I’ve done this before, I know what to do”?
