Have to agree it was done very well, very sad all round, feel the most sorry for Eric and Kerry and Kyle, Eric was a great father figure to Amy for many years and Leyla has been in his life for a long long time 😟 also feel for Matty.

But I can't stand Jacobs angry/crying, can't stand him full stop to be honest.

Does anyone else think that Caleb controls Ruby, I can't really explain it but there is something niggling me about it, the way he talks to her sometimes and the way he tells her he'll sort everything, he was awful to her about Cain, although he had an affair with Tracey, he was leaving and she was in bits and then he throws her a bone by staying....ah I could be wrong but I get controlling vibes from him, he also knows that if Ruby tells Steph the truth she'll hate her and then he'll be there to make it ok, could be completely wrong of course.

Anyway after all that doom and gloom this week it's now the weekend, have a nice one everyone 😊

I have exactly the same problem. I gave up and just watched it on my phone.

Eric was really upset over leyla, why? I never watched back in the day and it's only been the last couple of years that I've actually watched it. My mum watches classic so dunno if she'd be able to answer.

He did know her a while and they had interactions ..
She knew he had money troubles.

It’s certainly going to be weird if there’s no mention of David being contacted to break the news about Leyla. Maybe in 6 months time the scriptwriters will remember him and he’ll be fished out of the lake as well.
