Carla and Swain are still an item

Bethany and Daisy are always at war
Over Daniel I know what a surprise
Gemma and Chesney are off on a trip
And Nick and Toyah are making us roll our eyes

Kevin may have cancer that's all that he needs
But Tim and Sally seem sound
Amy seems troubled I hope she's OK
And with Leanne and Tracey, mischief is abound

David and Shona are always on their toes
Scared of Harvey's heavies coming at them
Eva has left, will a few more will leave soon?
Will things be quite different by the next full moon?

All the old regulars don't appear much these days
Or any funny storylines or good feeling
It's just like The Bill with all convicts and thugs
And crime and violence that just leaves us reeling

Daisy is pregnant but who's the daddy
She doesn't seem to want to know
I wonder if we'll ever know or she'll keep it a secret
Now that she's decided she is going to keep it!

DeeDee's still pregnant I think but she's gone quiet
Lauren's been cleared of her 'crime.'
Debbie's still sassy, and Ronnie's still sexy
And Kit is in Corrie all the time!

So the police are going to arrest everyone in rotation in true soap fashion. I am so fed up with the sight of that police station.

Couldn’t care less about Rob and Carla, but why would Rob want to escape so close to the end of his sentence? He’s bound to be caught and have to serve additional time, it just would not be worth it.

It will have to be one of Harvey’s crew who did it. He has more on his payroll than just Logan. I think Harvey very much cares about the money, as well as the control.

I suppose it could be Max. But they wouldn’t want him banged up for ten years surely? He’s a Platt and after Gail’s exit they won’t want another one out of action long term. (Not that I am expecting anyone to 'pay' unless it is Harvey's crew.)

The best thing about the episode (apart from Debbie) was Tracey. Some good lines.

I agree the show really misses the strong female friendships of 20 years ago. I suppose they are all too busy getting arrested.

Is Rob nearing the end of his sentence? If so, I can't think what he'd be up to. I thought he'd have longer to serve for murder, then absconding 🤔

I thought that too about Max... that's why I wondered if they'll pin it on Logan but not sure it sends out a great message to let him get away with even more stuff. That hoody definitely looked like Logan attire more than Max's though. Perhaps he has more brains than we give him credit for and he's gone full on Loganesque for the crime!

Yes Sam's character is boring. The novelty of a little egghead chess lover has well and truly worn off for me. They can keep him in but he needs a makeover.

My suggestions - cut that hair and give him a 🌈 mohican. Then dress him in leather and chains a la Sid Snot..... he could make a grand entrance in the bistro and start swearing and .....

Rob must be 11 years into his sentence, we don't know how long he actually got but it must be up for review in a few years? Although maybe he has committed additional crimes while inside, I'll be honest I haven't really taken an interest. It's a shame because he's a good actor, wasted on this rubbish.

That did look like a Logan hoody. I'd love to know what his alibi is, since he clearly hasn't got one as he was near the house when it was on fire.

It's also the fact he's supposed to have been in hiding, so surely any alibi will be either someone dodgy who would have to risk getting done for harbouring a criminal or if it's cctv of him in a particular public place, why was he there parading about anyway 🤷‍♀️

Odd they didn't show him being interviewed as well. I mean we must have seen a police interview practically every episode lately 🙄 How can we play detective if they're not letting us see all the interviews 🕵️‍♂️😂

I think yesterday might hold the record for the number of police interviews in one episode! At least they were actually in the police station rather than the Rovers or Roy's cafe😆

And didn't he escape once already after being sent down for Tina's murder and thenrecaptured? He also had previous form for armed robbery before we "knew" him so he'll definitely do his 25-years before even getting a sniff at the parole board.

We saw terry duckworth once, in Greenwich Park I think it was. We were around 8 and our mums sent us over to ask if it was him. He said no, but it 100% was him 😂 He was with a woman and a little girl and our mums were convinced they were his mistress and love child and he didn't want to be outed 🙈 Think they assumed his real life was as complicated as it was onscreen, not that he just wanted to be left alone 🤦‍♀️. Was a bit mean though to 2 little girls 🙄

It's a shame Rob can't return for the foreseeable. And Max is a lot more integral than Rob was so it's a reminder of why it would not be a good idea to have Max as the firestarter. They made Tracey a killer and had to maneouvre her out of that a few years later.

I’m probably the only one, but I’m bored of sulky David and his dramas. They can lock him up.
Would the Platts have insurance on that house anyway - after sink holes and bodies under garages etc!

It is really hard to get insurance where I live on underpinned houses. Imagine doing an insurance job on an uninsured house. They would be ridiculous...

If David didn't do it... there will be no proper evidence he did it and surely the car he was driving is on ANPR somewhere around Denton... they can't do him on circumstantial evidence like 'you thought about it' and 'you had a dodgy cell-mate you bumped into last week'.

I can't believe David suddenly lost all his weaselly criminal experience and thought Dodgy Andy was going to give him an alibi though, has he morphed into Gail or Sally suddenly?

It's all ridiculous. Toyah wanting to drop charges would make no odds with the evidence that Abi was there, assaulted Toyah, is utterly batshit and has a long history of criminal and violent behaviour!
