Anyone watching? I don't even particularly like her but think I'll watch

My partner doesn't get it he thinks she looks odd (he said worse about how she looks I can't repeat it here).

Well unless he's the next Brad Pitt, he'd do well to keep his nasty cakehole shut.
Not that she'd even care about his opinion anyway Grin
I've never watched a single episode but do hate men like this.

nottheplan · 09/05/2025 20:00

Just watching the new episodes, I feel for her. Her life isn't all rosy like we may think. She's had some very lonely times over the years
Her family seem very supportive . Her sister obviously doesn't like T and only wants the best for her. Her Mum & Dad are more on the fence. They probably don't want to rock the boat incase they have him as son in law in the future. She really wants the happy family.

As the ex-wife of an alcoholic, I feel for her. But I think she's forgotten how bad it got for her to leave, during the time they were apart. I hope that Tommy has decided to quit alcohol for good and prioritise her and their daughter, but sadly I wouldn't be surprised if that's not the case.

I also think once you've told someone the true extent of how bad your relationship is/ has been. They aren't ever going to forget that and her Sister is never going to be comfortable with Tommy fully again 🤷🏼‍♀️

Not sure if the editing is just wild and all out of sync but it was so jarring that she was being really horrible to her sister and then a scene later singing her praises for how helpful she was with bambi and how supportive she is and then back to making nasty comments. I know both can be true but it seemed bizarre like it was trying to reflect badly on Zoe; came across like because she pays for stuff for her family she can be nasty to them. I am not a hater by any means or wouldn't have watched it- not a huge fan either but it is impressive how she's built such brilliant businesses for herself.

In the first part of the series molly mentions she asked Tommy not to drink at her sisters wedding, I suspect something happened there. I don't get why she's wasting her time with him, she has everything going for her.

Imissfishfingers · 12/05/2025 13:51

It’s all just so set up. I don’t believe they properly broke up in the first place…now it’s all ok and she’s keen to get back together with him.
Also, strange with the sister, she was too involved. MM doesn’t come across as particularly likeable or inspiring.

Cakeymake · 12/05/2025 13:55

I think it's fair to be involved when you're the one they come running to when it all goes wrong. She moved in when bambi was little and helped support her sister more than anyone else. It's horrible seeing a sibling waste their time and keep talking about an addict who doesn't care about their relationship.

I wasn’t convinced alcohol was the main issue, I assumed it was a reasonable cover for accepting his infidelity.

My gut says they are back together under her control until she has a second child to complete her family then he will be permanently ditched.

TokyoSushi · 12/05/2025 20:49

I think that Zoe talks a lot of sense.

I expect that they likely will get properly back together, and have a second child, but the same problems will remain and eventually they’ll break up again/one day for good and she’ll be absolutely devastated all over again.

She did seem adamant she'd be giving B a sibling alright.

I think he was all about being a lad, out on the lash constantly, ignoring his responsibilities at home now he was a father, probably hooked up with other women whilst doing so. Did Zoe not make a comment like MM couldn’t get a a hold of him numerous times? I understand her frustration.

Anyway, MM seems determined whilst he doesn’t appear too sharp. The photo of them coming out of the airport from the Dubai holiday, her juggling pushing the pram and her luggage whilst he just wheeled his case along. She’ll have another kid with him but will it last? Doubtful.

yummyscummymummy01 · 13/05/2025 14:05

She has the financial freedom to do what so many people in her situation can't do, boot him out and not let him back in until he's learnt to treat her better. That said, if they are back together, I cant see is lasting that long as they seem a bit mismatched.

Absolutely this - there’s no way there was alcoholism involved, of course not!
