If they tried to murder Jake and failed - Jake won't know, but I think, when they've all turned up at breakfast, he'd be straight in there to crow about having the shield and not telling most other people. He strikes me as arrogant enough to do that without thinking about it.
Minah could then announce (after Jake admits to the shield) 'actually they tried to recruit me but I turned them down, I really don't think I could be a good traitor, I'm better at spotting them, after all I voted at the round table for both Armani and Linda (true) - that could satisfy them all and take the heat off her completely. If they then asked 'why didn't you say earlier you got recruited?' (once Jake revealed he had the shield) she could say 'I tried to get a word in but nobody was listening'.

If I was her, that's what I'd do

Do you think she'd be believed?

@samarrange They get £100 per day while they remain in the game - as compensation for loss of earnings. Seems very low to me, but there you go!

That does seem low but I spose many are hoping for opportunities/exposure off the back of it

I think that would be a risky move from Minah - people would wonder why she wasn't murdered the next night after turning down a recruitment

Ariela · 17/01/2025 11:37

But would the traitors bother murdering her? When no doubt something suitably suspicious comes up at round table to throw another innocent under the bus with a different murder. As in Anna.

Figgygal · 17/01/2025 11:38

Not sad to see Anna go she annoyed me how she thought it was all about her and she was playing a clever one but she really wasn't that key.

Alex I couldn't even remember his name at the episodes start.

Yes Mina and Charlotte messed up not going to the woods.

Can't believe it's over next week

outofofficeagain · 17/01/2025 11:38

@happinessischocolate @Phthia
Would Jake be told though? Because when Anna turned down the traitor, Leanne was convinced they had tried to murder her but she had the shield. Obviously as it's all about her.

But would it not just be seen as 'no murder'

I can see the exposure might be useful for Francesca, or if Lisa fancies a more Richard Coles -ish vicar career, or for someone in a dead-end job who’d like to break into media or something, and it would be a fun retirement thing, but I’m not sure what benefit it could possibly have for people Kaz or Alexander.

Turkeyhen · 17/01/2025 11:42

Several pp have said in the US Traitors when a player holding a shield was targeted for murder, they got a letter. So they did know that the traitors had attempted to murder them. We don't know yet if that rule is applied to UK Traitors, I imagine it will be.

Turkeyhen · 17/01/2025 11:46

What do others reckon is the current heat level on each player? My guesses are:

Alexander - 80%
Leon - 70%
Minah - 50% (now been mentioned multiple times by multiple players)
Frankie - 40% and rising
Leanne - 30%
Charlotte - 20%
Joe - 0%
Jake - 0%
Lisa - 0%

fairydust11 · 17/01/2025 11:47

Hanto · 17/01/2025 11:01

Whoops, I deleted a day…

To change the subject — what is actually going on with Leon? Are viewers believing the whole ‘lying in my coffin/the Deathmatch changed my whole take on the game and now I trust no one’ thing, or are we assuming something happened that didn’t make the edit that’s made him seem so altered in manner? Or bad news from home or something? (I assume family stuff can be communicated via the production team, that night be serious enough to need communicating but not bad enough to drop out for…?)

Because, though I’m loath to agree with ghastly Leanne (who thinks it’s all about her), Leon does seem gloomier and far more angst-ridden than the chilled, rather dozy Leon from the first few episodes.

In my opinion I think Leon is traumatised by the death match , his reaction when he wins over Fozia shows how seriously he took it.
I think he’s now realised no one is his friend (although he should’ve realised this earlier) and can’t hide his emotions (the death match showed he doesn’t really have a poker face) I think he wears his heart on his sleeve & is genuinely aggrieved that someone (a so called friend) put him through that.

witchycat2 · 17/01/2025 11:48

I'd imagine some do it for fun @Hanto or because they really want to win the prize money. But there are a few wannabe influencers (Armani, Maia, Anna, Freddie, Tyler to name a few) who probably hoped for exposure and brand collabs off the back of it. Maia in particular already had quite a big following and already does collabs.

witchycat2 · 17/01/2025 11:49

Leon is quite weak if he's 'traumatised' by the card game. Maybe he's just affected because he was picked for potential murder in the first place.

I don't think he adds much and would be happy to see him go

OP posts:
Turkeyhen · 17/01/2025 11:49

I forgot Freddie! 30% heat for him

I think that's spot on, he is taking the game very seriously and his emotions are getting the better of him. Although it's just a game I imagine when you're in there it feels intense in ways we can't imagine watching from our sofas.

bratsummer · 17/01/2025 11:56

I think they’ve commissioned the lady who restored that painting badly to do the Traitors portraits for the wall.

I’m sure it does, it’s just that he never struck me as particularly sensitive or susceptible earlier on — he seemed amiably dozy with a background character vibe.

Now he’s going around looking haunted and Hamlet-y, if Hamlet sported a baby-blue beanie.

People are continually claiming other people’s demeanour has changed totally, usually on completely spurious grounds (like poor Alex suddenly starting to look ‘guilty’, purely because everyone was looking for traitorousness every time he said ‘Pass the salt’) , but Leon genuinely seems quite altered.

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 17/01/2025 11:57

I think everyone in The Click Clique, were so sure they were incredible players - thought about themselves not each other - that they thought they were playing the game so well no one would pick them for banishment or get murdered. Been having great fun accusing others. Not so fond of discovering no one else saw them as brilliant as they see themselves.

Pumpkincozynights · 17/01/2025 12:07

I haven’t read the whole thread but I think the traitors made a mistake in not murdering Jake when they had the chance.
They should have murdered Jake and not Anna.
They could have cast suspicion on Anna. She looks suspicious due to:

  1. the boating incident when she argued with Lisa and then had to admit she was wrong and Lisa was right.
  2. claiming the traitors had tried to recruit her but not disclosing this at first.
  3. being chosen for the card game. They should have kept her in as the faithful are sure one if the players was a traitor. Now they have cocked up because they can’t get rid of the gobshite Jake. I’m on the fence about murdering Joe. Much as I don’t want him to win, he is doing an excellent job of banishing faithfuls. It does appear Charlotte will throw Minah under the bus.
JaneJeffer · 17/01/2025 12:10

I want Joe to stay so I have someone to shout at

H34th · 17/01/2025 12:13

I was just having a scroll on my IG and had a reel of Kasim and Joe together pop up.
Kas is saying we are all friends, it's our 'traitors' family, no hard feelings, etc...

What surprised me is that the doctor already has a very large following and has a PR agency link on his profile. Being on a show like that, no matter how long for, combined with the magic of social media can be life changing nowadays. It must be extraordinary for someone who has lived a private life, and most certainly it will bring him some sort of extra income.

I think Minah chose very well in choosing Charlotte, as she's competent enough to go under the radar for a bit but not threatening enough to take the prize off Minah. If she would've chosen Jake, he would definitely go to the final because of proving himself to be a faithful. I think Charlotte is a bit too keen, will slip up and get banished before Minah.

I can't stand Joe and Leanne at this point. Have a feeling Joe will make it to the final though. 🙄

Melancholyflower · 17/01/2025 09:18

Do we know when the series was filmed? In that Daily Mail article it says Leanne only announced her intention to leave the army in October, so hopefully it wasn't winning the series that enabled her to give up her job!

Which I guess is why when Linda and Fozia were opening up the Faithful secrets on Uncloaked it said Leanne was an Army Officer without the Ex in it. It was filmed before October and probably the day after they both left.

God I hope Leanne hasn't left the army because she won!

Turmerictolly · 17/01/2025 12:16

I wouldn't underestimate Charlotte. She's already proved she's an accomplished liar with the accent thing (she knows a posh accent will have her down as a threat) and then not telling Minah that she'd heard Minah's name being touted. She's clever.

H34th · 17/01/2025 12:18

It was filmed in May 2024 apparently.

Ha! Brilliant 😀

Turkeyhen · 17/01/2025 12:23

I am still rooting for Minah - she's being too trusting of Charlotte (just because Minah believes in the sisterhood, doesn't mean Charlotte does!). By withholding information about which players suspect Minah, Charlotte can use her position as traitor to keep them in and get Minah banished. Suspicions are mounting about Minah, I'm surprised that Minah seems not to realise the danger she is in.
