@Doingmybest12 I'm also enjoying Joe's dry deadpan delivery. His face in the background when Alexander was so earnestly delivering the backward nursery rhyme: hilarious.

Minah not Monaghan (predictive text gone wrong) !

That's one hell of a misspelling! Even worse than Anna's Meina 😆🤣 at least she apologised for getting it wrong.

ElderPrice · 17/01/2025 09:50

Just caught up!
I like the new Charlotte - she's come alive! (And has a sense of humour, I think)

The faithfuls really have no clues to go on, do they? So it inevitably boils down to whether you like or get on with someone more than another. Leanne's feeling that Leon was avoiding her was probably genuine (if a tad over dramatic) as they had been so cosy in their little click that wasn't a clique.

What genuine clues have they missed? The writing on the painting is about the only thing that could have been investigated/discussed?

I don't mind the challenges as they are an opportunity for the Traitors to slip up in some way and they also reveal more of all the players' characters as they can't edit their own reactions as efficiently when they're concentrating on the challenge IYSWIM?

I'm team Traitors nevertheless!

@witchycat2 but they know Linda was one. So think back at who she targeted. That means They won’t have been traitors.

Why? Minah targeted both Armani and Linda.

It did make me wonder whether there was a higher chance you would get banishment votes if your name was more easily spelled… (In future seasons, please cast people called Przemysław, Chiwetel, and Lasairfhíona and ensure they don’t go by nicknames or short forms .)

Or can the production team just include first names on the portraits in the breakfast room to avoid the ‘Meina’ stuff? And Keith writing ‘Nather’?

Also, have the portraits got weirdly caricature-ish, or were they always that fugly? Anna is actually very nice-looking but her photo portrait makes her look weirdly like Gru from the Minions films?

The paintings are awful. Livi’s was really boss eyed

Hanto · 17/01/2025 09:51

SlightlyJaded · 17/01/2025 09:40

Cannot stand Leanne.

I disliked her before she tried bully Alexander out of questioning her

But I think she must be really thick to imagine that 'everything has changed' just because she was in the spotlight for 10 seconds. Obviously self-absorbed, but actually stupid enough to think that her being voted against is different to anyone else being voted against and that people will be shocked or even bothered Did she forget it was a game and not an Instagram popularity contest?

Charlotte as a Traitor is a bit of a revelation. She is far more ruthless than I thought she would be.

Jo and Leanne to get in the fucking bin please.

What I’m interested in about Charlotte is that she appears not to wear visible makeup, which I admire as a strategy — I’m prone to blushing (like poor, innocent Alex) and think that not wearing foundation would make me much more ‘readable’ as guilty, regardless of whether I were faithful or a traitor.

Ghastly Leanne’s foundation is so thick it seems mask-like, which might be quite useful, quite apart from her whole Pink Barbie persona, in terms of concealment. Certainly no one’s ever going to be able to say ‘You went all red when I asked you about X’.

When she appeared (bafflingly) to be crying in last night’s episode about something to do with Leon, her makeup was completely undamaged. She should probably advertise unshiftable foundation!

Caught up in the early hours! I liked Anna. A true faithful 😊. I think she was wise the way she played the recruitment letter etc. She did well to get a few more days...
What a surprise Charlotte is! Proving to be a formidable traitor thus far! I think she might well be Minah's undoing, and I really didn't expect that. Just shows how some people are so much more likely to win as traitors than faithfuls.
Rooting for Alexander all the way now! He's definitely my favourite of the remaining faithfuls. I like Lisa as a person, but she's not a great player, bless her. He's just such a gentleman, and a decent sort generally. Go Alexander!

Edited

Anna annoyed me with all the dramatics about having been targeted by the traitors from day 1. If that were really the case, she would have been murdered the first night, FFS. Also all that dramatic shaking and trembling because she'd had to lie in a coffin for a few minutes - I'm quite sure that the reality after the card game was that she was taken off to her hotel, and then only got into the coffin when the players' car appeared on the horizon. It still irritates me that the likes of Francesca bang on about how cruel it was to murder her after she had such a hard time.

SlightlyJaded · 17/01/2025 10:00

I would like to see them leave in this order

  • Leanne - (Faithful) - banishment so she knows people don't like her
  • Joe - (Faithful) - murder
  • Lisa - (Faithful) - banishment so she gets to say a few words before she goes
  • Jake - (Faithful) - murder
  • Freddie - (Faithful) - murder
  • Alexander - (Faithful) - banishment
  • Francesca - (Faithful) - banishment
  • Leon - (Faithful) - murder because I couldn't bare to see his sad face knowing he was so close
  • Minah - (Traitor) for the win
  • Charlotte (Traitor) for the win

Obviously the methods don't stack up - two murders and THEN two banishments, but that's what I'd like.

iwillfollowyou · 17/01/2025 10:01

Minah was wearing a black jumper yesterday. It looked like a traitor outfit. If I was in there I would wear bright colours to avoid people subconsciously associating me with traitors.

They are foolish if they vote one of the woods people because if it is the person with the shield then it's obvious that all traitors are in the house group.

iwillfollowyou · 17/01/2025 10:03

I don't think Lisa or Jake will be banished they would have to be murdered to leave. The best thing to do would be recruit Francesca, Leon or Freddie as a sacrificial lamb

But no one will know they tried to murder a shielded player. Everyone will just show up at breakfast as usual and assume the traitors recruited.

iwillfollowyou · 17/01/2025 10:04

@Hanto ahh good point and if they do get away with it puts suspicion on woods people.

I can’t remember the weather being so nice then. They’ve had sunny days everyday and no rain.

Myself can 100% confirm to yourself that it was filmed in May as myself has a friend who is them self a part of the filming crew.

I did think that, if I were Linda or Minah, I would have chosen the people with the shortest names for the card game, to minimise the chances of being caught whilst writing them on the picture.

Turkeyhen · 17/01/2025 10:08

Didn't someone say upthread that if the traitors attempt to murder a player holding a shield, that player gets a letter? So they know there was a murder attempt.

Trying to teach myself to crochet - not progressed to squares yet 😂

For teaching yourself I highly recommend Bella Coco on YouTube. I know a few people who have learnt from her videos.

We don’t know that. It’s possible the intended victim will be told there was an attempt to murder them but they were saved by the shield.

TokyoSushi · 17/01/2025 10:09

I think the shielded person is told that they tried to murder them...

123ZYX · 17/01/2025 10:10

That would reply on the shielded person being believed if they chose to share it with everyone. I assume, like the recruitment letter, they don't get to keep it

Phthia · 17/01/2025 10:10

But if they try to murder Jake then it will be an absolute certainty that all the traitors were in the castle.

Not necessarily. It could be that there was no murder because they recruited.

GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen · 17/01/2025 10:12

I'm surprised there wasn't 'heat' on Frankie after she had them waste a load of time digging up grave VII instead of VIII. It was something that could easily have been presented as actual evidence (although it wasn't) people have been hung out to dry for a lot less.

bratsummer · 17/01/2025 10:12

I reaaallly hope they don’t try to murder Jake then. He will be the smuggest of the smug.

There were no shields available in that task though it was all about the money. No one can afford to sabotage a task at this stage. The prize pot is really low.

Also it could be Alexander.... Jake was clear he didn't trust him, so he was the only one in the Doll's House that he didn't tell.

No because Jake will be told that they tried to murder him.

And he'd be unlikely to be a traitor and faking the attempted murder as that's exactly what Harry did
