I say every year that this year will be the year that I quit love island - I'll probably be sat miserably on Monday in front of itv2 🙄😄

I think Scott's problem is that he is probably looking for the connection most people had straight away in his 1st series. Maybe he wants the Cara/nathan and Alex/Olivia end game! But he obviously hasn't let in sink in that LI hasn't been like that since like season 4.

Elma is right in a way though, he sacked off a girl he's been friends with for 9 years for Tina and he still isn't interested. So why stay?! People will likely send others home who could/have found someone just to save him for friendship loyalty and that isn't fair. Its about time someone called out people faking it to the end with friendships or jumping from girl to girl with no actual real interest.

I don’t think Scott is gorgeous but Luca is lovely looking. I think Scott liked Grace . I liked Scott more as a person on this last episode than any of the other episodes . Think he was just feeling the pressure and missing his dog !

I hate his constant use of the word man! Especially when he was talking to Tina. He's very good looking. Luca is handsome!

Scott’s two brothers are actors, one is in Corrie, the other was Emmerdale and Waterloo Road.
I wonder if Scott was looking for fame too, he isn’t an actor as far as I’m aware. Maybe he didn’t want to follow that path.

Elma's behaviour tonight was awful. Telling Scott to go home. It was the right decision for him to go but he didn't need her shouting at him.

I wonder if there where two factors in her behaviour, alcohol and guilt at sending her good friend home to save Tina for Scott which then was wasted?

@TheDutchHouse I don't like that she was being caz into it though.
Saving Tina was the right choice as caz and montell were into eachother, if they aged one they would be splitting them up. Tina had someone in the Vila, she had someone to go back to, the others didn't.

Saving Tina didn't mean that Scott owed them anything so Elma can just drop that entitled attitude.

Elma was absolutely bang out of order last night. Yeah we all get carried away sticking up for our friends in the moment, but she made the whole thing about her! Even when Tina was crying and trying to be discreet she was kicking off and wouldn't stop.

And then the next day she was crying as if this was hard on her........

It really was unbelievable! Imagine if a guy was telling a girl to leave because she, very considerately, ended a situation.

She was bang out of order. It was really uncomfortable to watch. When the girls were comforting Tina it was so obvious that they didn't want Elma there, none of them would answer her when she was asking what's wrong. She came in like a fucking tornado causing all that drama that they clearly didn't want. Gabby was right to remove Tina from the situation. I hope Elma goes next or is at least in the bottom two to give her a kick up the arse.

Just caught up on last nights episode. Elma was hideous. Who the hell is she to tell Scott to go home? She kicked off and caused drama where there needn't have been any. Scott did nothing wrong. He is totally entitled to finish the situation if he isn't feeling it. Luca was right when he said 'you want us to be honest and then when we are we get crucified for it' (or words to that effect) Tina crying and saying she is pissed off with him why? He has been honest with her all along. Its not like this has come out of the blue. He did tell her that something was missing.

Elma crying and making it all about her. Awful. She has massively gone down in my estimations now.

Can't believe I am saying this but at the moment Luca and Grace or Gabby and Casey for the win. Unless Omar and Catherine creep up there and become closer.

Elma went much too far in telling him to leave but I expect she would have given Scott a genuine apology the next day if he hadn't left. I can understand her knee jerk reaction but Tina was the only logical choice to keep in. Kaz and Montell were a couple already so it wouldn't have made sense to separate them by keeping Kaz, Nas had no interest in anyone. Scott hadn't promised anyone anything re Tina.

I think the Crux was it was awkward for Scott as he's 36. Too old for kissing challenges and suchlike. When he came in there was Marcel and India so a selection of later 30s contestants, now the age group seems far lower. I just think he'd had enough, little to do with Elma.

I think Allstars could be really interesting but it ideally needs to develop to reflect the maturity and go into the life experience of the participants, not just ape the original format. Bit more Big Brother would be good.

Elma’s in her mid-late 30’s isn’t she? And isn’t Sammy a young 20? She doesn’t seem to care about that and kissing challenges.

I think that between them they all just nagged Scott and wore him down. I think he felt if he had tried with anyone else he would have been nagged for that. I feel for him, the rest of the cast were on his back because he wasn’t as into their mate as they wanted him to be.
And Tina was sobbing like it was a serious relationship so she clearly had strong feelings which would have affected how much the others wanted him to like her.

The whole point of the show is to date casually until you find someone you really like. Thats what Scott did but apparently that wasn’t good enough.
