Carry on discussion for the 3rd series of The Traitors

Armani was dire on Uncloaked, she’s the kind of person you’d dread having in your office. Not loving Maia either. Not loving any of them yet though, although some we still dont know

I wonder if the three train people will get to kick out three faithfuls and chose the ones who were most blatantly selfish on the train or similar

😲 I spotted the names but didn’t think of using them to select who should have got off. That would have been by far the fairest way and I was really suprised that not eceb one carriage did a short straw/ names out of a hat type thing!

They need to recruit Kaz if they have any gameplying sense.

Yep. Also his frustration at being picked for no reason has started to boil over. It will be a shame if he ends up banished next.

I don't understand why no one is suspecting Jake by now with the way he goes gunning for people. Or does that keep him safe in a way as a Traitor wouldn't be so gobby? (Although, Armani 🤦‍♀️😆)

What was the new rule revealed at the first round table in the first episode? I thought it was that it would not be revealed if they were traitors / faithful. But clearly not. I haven't noticed anything different but there was definitely something they were told to think about.

Which also makes me wonder, if they know each other, are they allowed to share with each other whether they are a traitor or a faithful? And if so, why didn't Armani and Maia do so so they can help each other get to the end?

Agreed. I think it's a fine balance between being personable/likeable and making enough allies but blending in. I do think playing stupid is a good move -- people who showcase their intelligence are always banished or murdered- faithfuls think they are too clever to be fellow faithfuls and traitors see them as a threat. Nice, quiet and slightly dim is how I think you'd have to play! And great at challenges...

The thing that baffles me every time is the level of certainty they all have about their candidates. When we all know that at this stage they are more likely to be wrong than right as there is so little to go on. It makes great TV but I by far prefer the people who say 'to be honest I don't have a clue'!

It was a low blow - and Kas is right- his job has nothing to do with whether he is a traitor or not. No one else’s jobs are being analysed at the round table as to whether that means they would be a traitor or not. It’s a shame because it means it future series contestants are more likely to be more guarded and not share anything about themselves or just make up a fake persona, like Leanne.

I actually want Kas to get banished next just to see the faces on all those cocky fuckers who "100% know he's a traitor" 🙄

The thing that bugs me is them all talking about their “friends”! I’m sorry but these people are not your friends, you literally first met a few days ago and you have no idea if the person you are talking to is lying or not!

I’m so glad Armani has gone, her cockiness was getting on my nerves.

I hope there’s some twist bringing the 3 back, rather than just dropping them in to the game.

Yes this was kinda the point I was making, apologies if not clearly. They are all spectacularly unlikely to do it the three that did are either very different in outlook to the others, or more likely planted.

I was also half hoping he'd be banished so that Jake, Joe and Charlotte would have egg on their faces.

Yes totally insufferable. Total complete lack of self awareness. When she was asked if the Traitors would mange without her she said, 'Oh No. I was running that turret'!! She clearly didn't pick up on the vibes, from Minah in particular, regarding her 'advice' that Minah and Linda 'weren't doing enough.

When she was told in the castle that her name had been mentioned by a couple of people she was totally dismissive and went into the round table, 'totally confident' because 'I'm really popular and everyone loves me!!!'

On Uncloaked even Ed Gamble said some of the reluctance from the Faithful to vote for her were because they were frightened of her. If you were in her friendship group she's someone you wouldn't want to cross or upset.

Interestingly she trained as a barrister and was called to the bar but doesn't seem to have got a pupillage after that so isn't registered, either because she didn't secure one or she decided not to. I think any court room with her in it would be a very interesting experience................

Watching now, Freddie excuse for saying he hopes they fail wasn't great. I'd have said it was because I wouldn't want to have a 1 in 6 chance of being murdered vs them having a whole pool of players to pick fromWish they'd leave Kaz alone it's infuriating when they say its just because of his job.Tyler seems very switched onIf they do get Armani out I'd recruit Kaz, suspicions already on him so easy deflection. On the bonus bit of uncloaked they played a ‘who’s most likely to…’ game and Armani chose Anna as both ‘practical joker’ and ‘funniest’. We haven’t seen that at all yet, there’s a dark horse to come and hopefully a funny one!

What I find interesting about Uncloaked in general is that the banished or murdered traitors haven’t seen or know anymore than we have. So the ones who leave early don’t know how it ends or any of the other events. I know that last year they said that the WhatsApp group went into melt down when they found out that Diane and Ross were mother and son.

So Armani won’t know what happened in the turret after she left and for the rest of the series.
