Sonia didn't seem too upset that her half sister is 'confessing 'to murder :(
( or wondering why she would do this ? )
I know she is questioning her not confessing earlier on, but it's all a bit half hearted!

Sonia has behaved as if completely stupid during the whole storyline so no reason she'd suddenly twig now! Reiss said Bianca gave details ‘that only the killer would know’. He could not know 'what the killer would know' unless he was either the killer or the investigating officer. Sonia did look slightly confused at that point but I don't think the penny dropped.

Shelling , I think that Sonia lost the plot years ago tbh.
She's always been a tad unhinged.

Reiss is now up for tampering with a jury. That means there can be a retrial of Sonia as this trial can be declared a mistrial.

He's also up for perverting the course of justice, kipnapping and false imprisonment. I think we have fraud and embezzlement in there too. And money laundering. Oh and theft.

In additional to murder.

Have I missed anything?

Domestic abuse of Sonia, in the form of emotional and financial abuse??

He's a lovely chap is Reiss. Honest and good spirited.

Reiss is a monster for sure.
I am hoping he gets some kind of punishment eventually.

Debbie's mum hates him , she was brilliant at the look of loathing today.
I was hoping she would question this confession of Bianca's.

Poor Bianca.

I cannot believe that not one of the imbeciles of them have thought it could be Reiss.
Even the police! He is the one who has the most to gain from the off!
And they always say it's usually the nearest and dearest.

When Reiss finally gets his comeuppance, I want Debbie's mum's face to be the last thing he sees, with her eyes boring into him...

Oh yes! Debbie's mum's eyes boring into his lying ones as he is taken down for murder !
I hope she gets a chance to tell him a few home truths too !! I can't wait. It must happen as it did to Gray

I really hope Reiss is found out and incarcerated, rather than conveniently falls off a roof. Incarceration is his biggest fear and he so richly deserves it. I also hope this is all wrapped up next week because I cannot take any more of B in her hovel.

Jonny Freeman left the show last week so this story is going to run until the end of next month.

As long as he's found out next week and Bianca is out that's okay with me, I don't mind watching his downfall!

I wonder if this is where the crashed car (old Volvo, I think belongs to Reiss?) into the Queen Vic comes into it.

@NowNumber5 I'd forgotten about that pic. If they continue with the Hillman theme, when he was found out he tried to kill himself and his wife by driving into a canal (succeeded in killing himself, wife escaped).

There's pink/red bunting so I'm guessing Valentine's Day decs - they do love a bit of bunting don't they!
So that ties in with mid Feb - heading towards the anniversary.

Yeah that sounds cowardly enough for Reiss. Trying to take Sonia and the baby with him on Valentine's. I bet she loses the baby too.

I've never been keen on Sonia , but I wouldn't want her to die with Reiss as she is pregnant and was innocent of this particular crime.
She'll probably be in the car with him I suppose, but survive and the baby too.
( the Vic crash must be to do with Reiss at Honey and Billy's wedding , is my uneducated guess !)

So glad sonia is free. Just want an end to this silly storyline now

Agree she's acted dumb and I feel it's out of character 🙄

I never care about the Knights - and I find Anna and her cardigans so annoying 😄

That said, Gina and Harry could be good together

Agree that kat will follow reiss to the lock up and end him

I liked Anna's pink cardigan. It suits her
She is ' the girl next door ' where Gina is more edgy ( and a better actress !)
Harry and Gina might work , but her dad will not be happy

Agree re the comments about corrie lacking middle aged characters

Even as a kid, the most interesting people in the soaps for me were the middle aged ones and their every day problems and situations. No need for so much crime tbh, it's not line of duty 🙄

Id love for eastenders to have 5 x 30 mins episodes on weekdays and the same for corrie and emmerdale 🤭🤭

Oo I find the cardigans overkill - they could achieve a similar look with a sweater tbh
