@the80sweregreat Corrie sadly misses the humour and strong character led story lines of years ago. Honestly, it’s mainly set around crime and in the police station. I watch it out of habit, not a patch on what it was. A few strong characters that shame the weaker ones. They’ve just killed off a young actor who was amazing.

Eastenders is much better imo, but currently Emmerdale is the best for me.

So looking forward to “Grunt “ as he’s known in our house, returning.

I hope that Grunt is back to save his brother !
I don't want Phil dying off just yet

Phil Daniels who played Kevin Wicks is on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip right now.
He doesn't seem to have aged very much as I'm currently watching him and Denise in a relationship on Classic EE.

Bianca had become a bit of a boring character but actually in the last few episodes she has had some great lines. Patsy Palmer plays Bianca perfectly

Ruby's teeth are too big for her mouth.
It makes her face look uncomfortable.

Ruby is oddly attractive despite her teeth. I liked her character as a business woman , but the writers changed her for the worst

Why has jack the cop not seen through Reece hod dammit !!

The dreaded Sonia returned home today, after being found not guilty.

I enjoyed the scene where Brenda called Jack and the others who were at the trial “imbecile’s”.

@thisoldcity I agree it is a real problem for Corrie (sorry for the Corrie diversion!) because the only long timers they have now are ancient - Ken, Rita - and won't be around much longer. They do not have a cohort of middle aged familiar characters like Deirdre, Liz, Bev, Fred as they did 20 years ago.

Phil Daniels is also on House of Games this week, he’s getting a lot of screen time!

Anyway, back to EE…. Reiss is a blithering idiot, please get him off the screen. He’s a really good actor but it is a thankless task now. This should have been a good storyline but it descended into chaos.

As for the shovel! It's turning into this year’s turkey fork. I still think it’s Kojo, because he has barely been on screen.

Jack is deffo seeing through Reiss

If I were Sonia I would have suspected Reiss from day one, even if it felt like a disloyal thought. She is a very stupid woman.

Seems only Bianca who is often batshit is the only one who actually suspected him

Mo Harris is turning into an awful character too

I can't understand why Chris Crenshaw brought Mo back. She brings nothing beneficial to the show and she's played by a shit actress.

I completely agree about Mo. I have never liked her character or found her amusing, and the actress is poor. It was an odd decision to bring her back.

I've always liked Bianca tbh.
She knows her own faults and failings , yet loyal to her children and generally a good egg.

I do too she's crazy at times but loyal
I want her to escape soon

How on earth are they going to end this? She can’t escape because she’s chained up. Maybe Jack or someone else finally gets suspicious and follow Reiss to the lock up?

Surely it has to be resolved by someone following Reiss to the lock up. If Jack is suspicious, it might be him.

Bianca has always been a bit bonkers but Patsy makes her very likeable.

Maybe Sonia will go on about the video confession ? I know that I'd be contacting the police or the barrister and ask to see it at least !
Reiss can only shut her down for so long ?
Cindy has moved out now , so my idea of her rescuing her didn't happen.
Not sure who will find out anything now

I think Kat will keep going on about it, suspect Reiss then follow him. He doesn't wanna be on Kat's bad side
