I dislike Sonia, always have. But fear not Sonia fans, if she is in the car crash, she will rescue herself with a biro and a nail file. She’ll then deliver her own baby by the market, buy herself a bag of grapes, go home, clean herself up and put the kettle on.
As you do when you’re a nurse of St Sonia’s calibre.

The Stacey actress Lacey Turner has named her third child (2nd daughter) Gypsy Olive 🫒

Nurse Phil will be on hand to attend too, with his midwifery skills.
Maybe that's the turning point to pull him out of the doldrums. Sonia will name the suitably bald 6 month old newborn Philomena in gratitude.

Indeed, Phil will cut the cord with a rusty penknife which he’s sterilised with whiskey from the hip flask in his leather jacket.
”There ya go Son, all tied off, used a rubber band off Mar’ins bananas. Had a look darn there, all good you don’t need stitches or nuffin.”
Sonia: “Fanks Phil, I owe you mate. I’m gonna call her Philomena.”
Phil: (Tearing Up): “Bless ya, in that case I’ll be giving her me car and a few other assets. On account of one fing, her middle name is Peggy.”
Sonia and Phil gaze down lovingly at baby Philomena Peggy, wrapped carefully in one of Phil’s oily rags.

Phil had to help deliver one of Kim's offspring once ( can't remember which one ) in the pub toilets.
He wasn't that great, but the baby was safe at least. It was funny though , his face was a picture at the ' business end' of things so to speak.

I think it's on Wednesday 19th February, which will be EE's 40th anniversary Shelling.

I thought the solicitor said Sonia would have to go back to prison to await a retrial or something? Maybe Walford legal system is different to the rest of the country, like it's health service and police seem to be.

This, one minute I'm expecting sonia to be heading back to jail, next thing she's getting the verdict, I thought it was a dream 🤭

I feel like the writers heard our pleas for this saga to just bloody end

@dysonwithdeath that was when they were going to stop the trial and wait for a CPS decision about Bianca's 'confession'. But the trial continued and the jury found Sonia not guilty because Reiss gave them the dodgy video.

The whole thing was bizarre!
Like they would just let their main suspect walk out free, based on a dodgy phone video recorded "confession", without demanding to haul Bianca in for questioning?
Do they not even care there is a cold blooded murderer on the loose somewhere?
Why did the confession not spark a manhunt for the murderer then?
Literally half an hour after the non guilty verdict of Sonia, she's back in the QV then having a fish and chip supper!

Absolutely bonkers!

I saw something that said Bianca positioned the camera to show Debbie's dollhouse in the background. I didn't study the recording and I'm not rewatching to spot it but if it's correct and the dollhouse was in view then surely this will alert Debbie's mum, if she ever gets to see the recording. I do remember the conversation about the dollhouse

Sonia is extremely annoying, all the gurning facial expressions. I know she's pained by her experience but she's like a wet blanket and hasn't helped herself at all

I never got into the save our Sonia campaign but I will lead the save our Bianca campaign, Bianca needs freeing

Debbie had Reiss written out of her Will.
He was left a dolls house though. Debbie's parents thought this was highly amusing at the time as they both hate him !

I think you genuinely are immediately released when you are found not guilty. There is no manhunt because the CPS have not yet even considered the Bianca recording. The jury have illicitly seen the video and found Sonia not guilty on that basis. (As if a jury member wouldn't immediately tell the court the defendant's weird husband had foisted it on her!)

I bet that any real lawyers and any legal eagles who may watch this soap just roll their eyes ! lol

Yes the doll house was left to Reiss in the will and I think the mum made a point of calling it the creepy doll house.
I wonder if/when anyone else will see the recording

Yes, what is Gina up to ?

The lady barrister or lawyer ( or who ever she was ) did say to Reiss that there would be a re trial because of the new evidence and so on.
Today Sonia is eating chips back home and it's a not guilty verdict! A bit of a jump in time ?
