Why doesn't Cindy just bugger off back to France by herself then?

Also, I noticed she didn't mention Elaine or Kathy as possible suspect when she was going through the list of names of who could be after her 🧐

Shellingbynight · 20/01/2025 20:08

So the stress of the trial is harming the baby, so Sonia is going to plead guilty and be sent to jail for 10+ years instead, which won’t be stressful at all. She would then be parted from her child at (I think) 18 months. How does any of this make sense?

And still no one has wondered why Reiss is behaving like a madman.

I don’t think Ian knows anything, although he might think he does. He might have thrown the brick, although it occurred to me it may have been Elaine. Ian just likes having Cindy grovelling and in his power.

Bluesandwhites · 20/01/2025 20:20

That was a very smug, cold, calculating look from Ian in today's final scene. Like he knows something, it could be Ian who threw the brick.
Yes, Ian probably wants to humiliate Cindy like she humiliated him. He wouldn't do a 180 degree turn, and have compassion after freezing her out and calling her rotten.

the80sweregreat · 20/01/2025 20:33

Oh yes! Poisoned carbonara..

Ikr! Absolutely bonkers imho. I hope Reiss will finally fess up and take the rap to save Sonia and the baby. However, I doubt he is actually going to. The bumbling coward that he is 😬

Reiss conveniently already had a chain, hoop and padlock in his dungeon. So what on earth has gone on before. B ending up there was not planned that much in advance.

I’ve been wondering the same thing!

Also.. where’s Bex - does she not care that her mum is on trial for murder? There hasn’t been a mention of her!

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 21/01/2025 00:13

So sonia is gonna plead guilty, wow

Ian is always scheming to get 'revenge' on a woman, it's his thing 🤭

Phil will eventually stop him

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 07:13

Why Phil to save Cindy ? He isn't well known for his sympathy towards woman usually and they don't even share a child ! lol
However, he loathes Ian ..

storminabuttercup · 21/01/2025 08:39

Just catching up on last nights at least Kat and Jack have realised B is missing and are calling round

Shellingbynight · 21/01/2025 08:44

I think Phil has other things on his mind than Cindy and Ian!

Ian is a weasel but I could not blame him for deciding to torture Cindy for a while, after what she's done to him - yet again. He didn't seem that gripped with the idea of meeting her, he was kind of forced into it by Peter being worried and her refusing to answer. So I'm not sure if he threw the brick, he may just have seen the effect it had on her and then formulated a plan.

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 09:47

Rather than all the bother of revenge planning and executing it all, would seeing her homeless be just as good? Unless he is planning to fleece her of the business or slowly poison her?
Most people would have just left for a while to let the dust settle, but she seems determined to stay living on the square

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 10:57

Cindy didn't seem too worried about where she would live when Reiss told her to move out at first. I'd be panicking or trying to find a place at the b and b Reiss suggested to her
Does Kim and co still run a b and b?..
She clearly thinks Ian has forgiven her!

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 11:34

Todays one was good !

Southeastdweller · 21/01/2025 12:09

I was a huge fan of The Bill in the 90s so I was tickled this morning to see the actor who played the gorgeous DCI Rod Skase play the slimy councillor. Also it was amusing when he talked about Johnny Allen since Billy Murray was in The Bill at the same time, so they acted together. He still looks good! I wonder if this was the casting director’s nod to The Bill.

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 12:22

I only ever saw a few episodes of 'the bill ', but I did like the look of the council man even if he did go a tad David Brent.
Jack and Denise were in the Bill too once I believe working together.
Maybe they have had cross over writers before ?
Looks like the Turpin street market is a goner then ;(
Will Bianca take the rap for Debbie's murder ?
What evidence will they have ? ! None , of course

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 12:26

The flickering light was very atmospheric today
I feel they need an electrical engineer to rewire the barrel store. The light looks out the ark !

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 21/01/2025 16:07

Mo is so funny 'I won't blab to anyone... are you the Walford whacker?' is hilarious

😄 Just because he hates Ian

I think he'll get himself back and beating up ian will be a part of it - and no-one will care because of ians 100th 'revenge' plot 🤭

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 21/01/2025 16:09

I always wonder about the bnb

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 21/01/2025 16:21

Ruby should've beat that guy up!

Stacey was so happy Ruby made things worse though 😒

NowNumber5 · 21/01/2025 17:07

@mumofoneAlonebutokay "Walford Whacker" made me lol too.
Also loved the pub scene with Shumpers taking the mick out of Nicola 😆

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 17:17

I don't normally mind Mo and her funny quips , but she doesn't know it wasn't a random attack and today was in poor taste really.
George acted that so well today , getting upset , going for Ian , warning Cinds his up to no good. One of the better actors in it tbh.

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2025 17:18

To think that Sharon nearly married Jack once !
They were smitten.
Both have been round the block with relationships

dysonwithdeath · 21/01/2025 17:39

Sharon has had a very eventful life

Cos she's not got a valid visa post Brexit.
